You made the song a boss theme. lol
Now I'm just imagining something like a nerfed version of Kali, the telekinetic chain girl from Liam's old Design series, fighting a menacing security cyborg in the vain of Adam Smasher from Cyberpunk Edgerunners or Frank Horrigan from Fallout 2. Background being her escaping an Aperture Science or Black Mesa style lab complex after fighting squads of security drones and government containment units, and maybe even some alien monsters.
I can almost stitch a scene together, but am slightly creatively fatigued from working on an original crack story. Still, playing this over the "You're ride's over mutie. Time to die." line just has this vivid image of Kali looking up in terrified awe at the hulking frame of a steel clad monster, possibly on par with herself. She's just able to redirect the behemoth's missile away from herself before it blasts a crater in her wake and she evades behind an armored truck beneath the pale, fluorescent light of the vehicle depot.
[sidenote: this is all meagerly revised. forgive minor errors.]
Sneaking through several rows of vehicles as her hunter apathetically started blasting them at random, she drew close enough project a telekinetic field around him. As she cast her influence out however, the only effect was a series of sharp, crackling sparks against his armor as her power was negated by a defensive energy shield. Turning, the mountainous cyborg glared at her with a pair of beaming red eyes, set into the strangely insectoid frame of a jet black helmet. "Your gimmick's outdated." he growled as a shoulder mounted chaingun erupted into a buzzing spray of hot lead.
Countless rounds were diverted around Kali, burying themselves into the plating of the vehicle behind her as her vision tunneled and her mind clouded. Throwing a kinetic blast into the ground adjacent her, she was sent sailing towards the near wall as a cloud of shattered cement and the underlaying dirt shot into the air. Clumsily landing against the wall, she used all her terrified will to rip a hole through it as she heard another rocket fire behind her. Turning for a split second, she nearly froze as she saw the explosive barrel towards her as the cyborg's energy weapon finished charging.
Sheering a piece of the metal wall free, she threw it into the path of the missile, and the sheet was shredded into a piercing spray of shrapnel as a blinding beam of deadly energy shot inches past her. Exhausted, her effort to protect herself from the shrapnel was fleeting, and several slivers ripped through the gaunt frame of her torso. Thrown back by the blast, she landed in a limp sprawl on a bed of cool sand beneath the burned orange gradient cast across the evening sky.
Vision fading as a mortal chill soaked through the paralyzing numbness, she starred at the fiery ball of light sinking below a mountainous horizon. 'So it does... look like I remembered...' She thought to herself, a weak grin crossing her face as she heard the heavy gate of her opponent step closer.
"Subject 12 disabled." The giant declared over the radio as it looked down at the pale, raven haired girl on the ground before him, looking like nothing more than a corpse. "Moving to terminate." Without missing a beat, he raised his energy cannon to vaporize the rogue subject before halting abruptly and tilting his armored head in confusion. "You must be joking." he said to the voice on the other end of his connection. "Very well." He disappointedly growled before snatching the body by its neck. "Returning 12 to custody... by your orders."
Anyway, making that was definitely a thing. Hopefully some of you enjoyed. Have an awesome night, day, thing, whatever.
