Over the years, we at Savills have received dozens of emails and requests for the traditional barbering training that leads to the skills and professional ethos that we are famous for.
Back then the time just was't right, and as with everything we do, if we were going to offer training courses, we only wanted to deliver them to the top standard. So, after carful consideration and planning ,late 2014 saw us finally begin to deliver a 12 month NVQ Level 2 course in Barbering to groups of enthusiastic, budding barbers. The Savills Academy was born. Now we are proud to offer private training courses in small, intimate training groups (maximum 6 students/10 for shaving).
At Savills, we don’t believe that the age-old skill of barbering can be learned from scratch in just a few weeks. If you are looking for this type of course, then you’ll be disappointed. However, if you are a newly qualified barber, a semi skilled barber or hairdresser wanting to hone your skills and draw inspiration for some of the best guys in the business, then that we can help you with!

Owner and master barber Joth Davies has over 26 years experience in the industry and is supported by an extensive team of master barbers and trainees, well versed in the Savills ethos of quality.
Here at Savills, we aim for a fresh and exciting take on traditional barbering training that keeps the tried and true but mixes it with the new. We guarantee our students will leave us inspired, soaking up the best advice and knowledge to help further their careers in the industry.
