      Hello! Can you tell in more details how did you succeed in receiving this visa and why you applied for it when being in France? A person have to have residence to do all the required actions/documents/etc?

    Hi Guiga! As a freelancer on this visa, will they look down upon me for having mostly non-French clients? Or does that not matter?

    We want to start a gite business in France & have found a property. But the first year will be renovating a part of the property into gites. How does this work? As until the gites are completed we obviously can’t rent them out to have income from them.
    But we will have savings to support ourselves until they are ready.
    Can you advise please? Fab vid though, thanks.

    Hello! I have an APS visa, and I had done my master's in France(2019-2021). I believe an APS visa allows the opportunity to register a company. I wish to start a business in France but I have been living in my home country since last 3-4 months and I haven't paid taxes in France. So as a non tax payer can I still register a company? Thank you.

    Hi Guiga!
    I have a "Recherche d'emploi création d'entreprise" titre de séjour and have been a micro-entrepreneur registered with Urssaf for the past year and I make more than the SMIC (got also my masters from France as well) but I'm not sure which visa would be better for me (better as in having lower chance of rejection): "entrepreneur/profession libérale" or "passeport talent - créateur d’entreprise”. My biggest concern is that I don't quite have 30,000 euros sitting on my bank account for the passeport talent prerequisite. What do you think?
    Any comment would be highly appreciated.

      Hi Nima, if you don't have the 30K€ to invest it sounds like the Entrepreneur/Profession libérale is the right visa for you. Also, it has less chance to be rejected, since it gets less scrutiny than the Talent Passport visas. Good luck to you!

    Merci

    Hello, can I change from student to Profession Libérale ? If so, do I need to have 20k in my bank account, or is it enough with the contracts that my clients have given me ? My clients are outside of France is this a problem ?
    - I’ve been living in France for 4 years and 3 months.
    Thank you and sorry for all the questions 😅

    • @expatinfrance
      @expatinfrance  10 місяців тому

      Hi Mel,
      Yes, you can do this change of status if you meet all the requirements for the Entrepreneur/Profession libérale permit. I detail how to do it on the Dream to Reality course.
      Alternatively, you can also work as a self-employed under the Recherche d'emploi / Création d'entreprise for one year.
      More info here:
      Dream to Reality course: expat-in-france.com/dream-to-reality
      Recherche d'emploi / Création d'entreprise: expat-in-france.com/stay-in-france-after-studies/
      I hope this helps!

      Hello, No, you cannot have a salaried position with a visitor visa. Both your employer and yourself will be non compliant.
      Then as a sel-employed, this is what I explain in the video (tax issues)

    Hi Guiga!
    Thanks a lot for such a detailed video! That's exactly visa type I was looking for.
    Could you recommend some agency that can help with visa documents preparation, finding accomodation and business creation in France? Do you provide such services?

    • @expatinfrance
      @expatinfrance  2 роки тому

      Hello Albert,
      It depends on the level of assisance you are looking for and the budget you have as well.
      A relocation agency that will assist you with the visa and permit paperwork + homesearch + settling in could easily cost you 2000 euros. And this doesn't include the accoutant fees to set up a company.
      If you are looking for a more affordable option that will imply a DIY but also more autonomy on being able to manage the french administration for your renewal and all you needs, you can check out my France Formula course.
      I'm opening the doors today and for a few days only (to keep it smaller to give a better assistance): expat-in-france.com/france-formula-for-entrepreneurs/
      All the best to you!

    Hello.. I’m in an irregular situation in France now.. Can I apply for this procedure with my irregular situation?

    • @expatinfrance
      @expatinfrance  2 роки тому

      Hello Chamo,
      Unfortunately no the Profession liberale visa is not available for the regularisation process. The salaried visas are.
      This associaition may be able to help you with your job search. They assist many people in irregular situation to find a job and then to be regularised: www.yoonfrance.com/
      They are in Lyon, but I beleive they also provide remote assistance.
      Good luck and take care

    • @expatinfrance
      @expatinfrance  2 роки тому +1

      Hi again Chamo,
      It seems that some Prefecture MAY accept the Profession liberale status as a way of regularisation but not all... (an example here: www.somme.gouv.fr/content/download/26190/168904/file)
      The regularisation process is done at the Prefecture's discretion in many cases, so I highly recommend you to get assistance from a local association to help you with the process.
      Good luck!
