Your teaching method is too deep, You are amazing. Nowadays no one has time to teach like that. You even teach Like "If you don't see this or that panel then you can get it through this or that place and one more thing you answer your commenter thoroughly, this is incredible. Ohhhh Ahh..! I write too much. A BIG thumbs up for you.

Is there a way to make a preset for this shake effect?
is there a preset pack for shakes, flickers, zoom, lightning
Great idea! I'll try to come up with a preset pack. I'll keep you posted.
@@cmdelavega thanksss
For those of you who want to copy and paste the command, here you go:
wiggle(effect("Frequency")("Slider"),effect("Amount")("Slider"))
for some reason, when i click the stopwatch it just creates a keyframe - no word box
Click on the property you want to add expression. Go to Animation Menu then Add Expression.
hold alt key and right click on the stop watch
Can you make tutorial about the ring is broken??
Hi! Do you mean the shattering of the backboard?
Yes
incredible tutorial, so detailed and step by step! is there any way to copy and paste this whole thing to different clips, or do we have to start each time?
Thank you! Yes you can copy/paste the expression and slider controls. I would copy/paste slider control first then highlight the expression code, copy CTRL C or CMD C and in your new layer, open the expression box and paste CTRL V or CMD V
around 3:49 when I go to drag the thing up this is the code it makes temp = effect("Frequeny")("Slider");
[temp, temp]effect("amount")("Slider") pls help me
No worries. Just type it manually. Assuming you renamed the 2 slider controls exactly Frequency and Amount , copy/paste this line of code:
wiggle(effect("Frequency")("Slider"),effect("Amount")("Slider"))
@@cmdelavega I tried that and it still didnt work :(
bro what about ESPN Inspired Sports project file?
Hey Harish! Been busy with work but in the Christmas break, I'll make the project files available for download.
Hi Harish, here's the project file for the ESPN inspired retro promo: gum.co/BnzbD
iPhone?
is there a way to intensify the wiggle
Yes! Increase the first value to above 20.
how can I make it react to the audio?
Check this video to react with audio: ua-cam.com/video/Jgvz0N3rUTk/v-deo.html
this was the hardest tutorial i've seen
Hard because of the coding?
it worked with the hardcode but when I tried the second way nothing happened..
Make sure you add a parenthesis at the end of the line..sometimes I'll forget and it will return as an error.
I followed all the steps, but couldn't get it to work for some reason... this was my first attempt using after effects so perhaps I need a basic foundation of knowledge before I move onto more advanced effects.. Thanks anyways for the video though!
Oh man so sorry it didn't work. The simplest way to get the shake is by adding the wiggle expression with no sliders. For example: wiggle(5,10) if that works then try adding the sliders for more control.
glitch effecs next bro
For sure!
This doesn´t work in CC 2020 :(
Wiggle expression works in all CC versions of Ae. I just used it then other day in CC2020. What property where you trying to add wiggle expression?
C.M. de la VEGA I get an instant errormessage when I try do pickwhip the slider. It loos different than previous versions too
There is an error it says: error: syntaxerror:missing ) after argument list
Plz help
just type wiggle(5,10) Once you type this check out how it works. If you want to link to expression control, select/highlight the number (value) and pickwhip to the slider control
@@cmdelavega when I connecting the sliders it says there is a problem and I need to connect them because I want to ke frame it
*key
@@cmdelavega I figure out how to do it I duplicated the video and put the effect on the duplicate and I cropped it to the time I was needed
Thanks for the video. I followed your Tutorial and some out of other videos and just uploaded my first Highlight Reel (The Shake Effect is included). If you want, check it out.
Just checked it out! Great job!!! Awesome! Love the use of the scribble lines and the shake effect!
@@cmdelavega Thank you so much. You are an inspiration to me.
Thank you, appreciate the kind words!
I followed every step until 2:50, nothing even happend, nothing worked.
this looks terrible 😹
