They bashed them because the Tom Clancy games had always been gritty and tactical, and the original players of this game were mostly that fan base, however as time has gone on this game has gt increasingly popular and they obviously are no longer catering to that crowd since Ace is the first Operator in over a year to even wear a helmet and Mozzie pizza is a thing.
Aside from Black Ice, my favourite seasonal skins were the ones added in Velvet Shell. Every season since then I’ve liked the skins less and less, and the last one I actually bothered to buy was Oceans Teeth however long ago that was, probably at least a year.
I think it would be nice if they brought back the older cosmetic items and allow us to earn them in some way. Hell, even buy the older skins in some way so the newer players could actually get some quality skins for once
No, Quick play should be revamped to be like CS:GOs maps, you can select the maps you want to play at the cost of potenitally higher queue times, a good amount of maps are shit (Fortress, Plane, House, Bartlett, Outback, FUCKING HEREFORD) and you just groan because you don't want to play the map, you HAVE to meme on some maps just to have fun with it because it is just so bad otherwise

That’s a good idea. I think that maybe kali would break the bulletproof layer of the device with one bullet so it can be shot with a regular bullet from your teammates. For example, the bulletproof glass breaks on bulletproof cameras and the bulletproof glass breaks on maestros evil eyes. Just an idea.
That would be way too strong. She already has 3 explosives. Making her that strong would break the game. She would become a must pick. Her secondary would be her primary and the sniper would be utility clearance. She would do the work of several utility clearers on her own.

About picking objectives in quick match. As someone who pretty much only plays quick match, i'd love that, like in secure area on border i hate getting tellers, or i also hate kids room on house but love the garage. So being able to pick garage over kids on house or pick armory over tellers on border would make the game so much more fun in my opinion.
I’ve felt the same way. Ripping open a Alpha Pack to find a duplicate polka-dot skin is insane in 2020. Where’s the digital camos, blood camo , skull camos??? Some are cool like black ice and etc. but the common skins are super weak imo and some look made in under 1 minute 🤦♂️

Some of the character cosmetics have been great, weapon skins have been lackluster (except the universal from the Halloween event, love that one). I think the issue they’re running into is trying to make the “mY rEAliSm” people happy, while also coming out with stuff people will buy. I think the Summer skin is great, a lot of the Battlepass weapon skins look cool.
My biggest gripe with the Siege art team is the lack of cosmetics for the newer operators. Someone like Ash has 2 elites, hundreds of headgears and outfits but operators from over a year ago still dont even have 3-4

i think a cool idea for an operator would be a defender that could kind if interrogate drones? like during prep phase, he/she could pick up a drone and do a little animation where they tinker with it and then the defenders can see the attackers line up before action phase. this would allow the defenders to prepare better for the round.

For example, seasonal skins used to always cost 25k renown, and now they can cost up to 27k with the season pass. Same with bundles. They went from these cool items to desert and woodland camos that cost 50k renown.

I had an idea for a sledge update, make it so that he is able to hammer his way through reinforcements, i would take 3 hits in order for him to break through giving defence a chance to prepare but could also be used as a decoy if he went around and hit different parts of the reinforcement. I feel like sledge is just sadly being left behind more and more as the game progresses.
One of the best legendaries to me in this game is the Pink weapon skin...my friend got it in an Alpha pack..I liked it so much that I decided to go visit him and play siege on his account just to play with that skin..that was back in year 3... now I look back to those times and I wonder why don't these new skins make me feel that same way..I feel they are just relying on the wooden antique theme for their legendaries...

People leaving before interros in ranked is still a problem. In ranked they just leave while I'm running over and reconnect. Ubisoft needs to do something about this
They should add cinematics at the beginning of the matches where the attackers arrive by: helo, truck, apc, or some way, it would be cool Like when they showed the game at E3 when they drop off on the roof at house
As for weapon skins many people have made their own ideas for skins and frankly they look better than most of the Ubisoft skins that have recently released. For example blood ice which is a red shift version of black ice
I would argue that cosmetics are a huge part of the gameplay loop in siege. The only tangible rewards you get for winning are alpha packs (which hold cosmetics) and renown (for buying cosmetics). The fact the cosmetics are subpar is a sizable blemish on this game which I feel needs addressing.
I completely agree with the new skins and I used to be excited for new weapon skins but now I don’t really care anymore. Also, they aren’t making any weapon skins anymore which are on the same level as black ice, cross fader or chupinazo
I think that people have to remember that art designers are under lockdown too... they don’t have their usual setups, they aren’t able to brainstorm as well, get feedback, etc.
I play mostly casual and something that is frustrating is UA-camrs saying that I want bad maps in the casual rotation. I leave every game of Tower because it is such an unenjoyable map to play. If I get stuck playing a bad site it feels bad. Just because I don't play ranked doesn't mean I want to play bad maps/sites.
What do you think on a Jackal rework, that instead of pings it reveals the scanned footprints for the entire team? It can have jus fewer uses or less time on. Maybe for balancing, the tracked defender can also see his footprints to have more information and maybe create a trap.

I think the last season with great seasonal skins was Chinese op with lesion ying and ela. after that they kinda started going downhill. the very next season with vigil doka and zofia had really boring and mediocre skins, almost every season since then had one of the skins with something engraved on wood or metal or antique looking and sometimes it seems like they reuse this skin every season but change the shade of brown. the only season that tried to change this was amaru/goyo season, and even though those skins are pretty unique and colorful, they are pretty far from what we had in velvet shell or blood orchid

The reason I like Black Ice so much is because of how cool it looks. They should release a group of skins that had singular colours then LED’s on them
One of the best legendaries to me in this game is the Pink weapon skin...my friend got it in an Alpha pack..I liked it so much that I decided to go visit him and play siege on his account just to play with that skin..that was back in year 3... now I look back to those times and I wonder why don't these new skins make me feel that same way..I feel they are just relying on the wooden antique theme for their legendaries...

People leaving before interros in ranked is still a problem. In ranked they just leave while I'm running over and reconnect. Ubisoft needs to do something about this
They should add cinematics at the beginning of the matches where the attackers arrive by: helo, truck, apc, or some way, it would be cool

I think they should try out having the jump and the actual slam as two separate abilities.
As for weapon skins many people have made their own ideas for skins and frankly they look better than most of the Ubisoft skins that have recently released. For example blood ice which is a red shift version of black ice
I would argue that cosmetics are a huge part of the gameplay loop in siege. The only tangible rewards you get for winning are alpha packs (which hold cosmetics) and renown (for buying cosmetics). The fact the cosmetics are subpar is a sizable blemish on this game which I feel needs addressing.

I completely agree with the new skins and I used to be excited for new weapon skins but now I don’t really care anymore. Also, they aren’t making any weapon skins anymore which are on the same level as black ice, cross fader or chupinazo

I think that people have to remember that art designers are under lockdown too... they don’t have their usual setups, they aren’t able to brainstorm as well, get feedback, etc.
I play mostly casual and something that is frustrating is UA-camrs saying that I want bad maps in the casual rotation. I leave every game of Tower because it is such an unenjoyable map to play. If I get stuck playing a bad site it feels bad. Just because I don't play ranked doesn't mean I want to play bad maps/sites.
What do you think on a Jackal rework, that instead of pings it reveals the scanned footprints for the entire team? It can have jus fewer uses or less time on. Maybe for balancing, the tracked defender can also see his footprints to have more information and maybe create a trap.

What do you think about a defensive operator who can trick attackers’ drone with an illusion into thinking that a wall is reinforced. This would allow for the defense to create more rotate and setups in some places
I’d love a Blood Ice skin that’s a red version of black ice, or even a purple version or orange
What do you think about a defender who has a foam gun that can “patch” or cover soft surfaces? Could help defend from vertical play, but wouldn’t stop bullets or destruction

Earlier today I got a guaranteed legendary pack from the battle pass, and it gave me me a charm of ash’s boots with a sign saying “time to kick ass” probably the worst legendary I’ve gotten
I think the last season with great seasonal skins was Chinese op with lesion ying and ela. after that they kinda started going downhill. the very next season with vigil doka and zofia had really boring and mediocre skins, almost every season since then had one of the skins with something engraved on wood or metal or antique looking and sometimes it seems like they reuse this skin every season but change the shade of brown. the only season that tried to change this was amaru/goyo season, and even though those skins are pretty unique and colorful, they are pretty far from what we had in velvet shell or blood orchid
