- Alaskan psych rockers Portugal. The Man were in Toronto to perform at the Phoenix Concert Theatre on June 11th in support of their brand new studio album 'Evil Friends' (via. Atlantic Records on June 4th, 2013). BTW's Steve St. Jean met up with frontman John Gourley for a one on one interview to chat about the new album, The Beatles and of course... What he thinks life is.

I like how he talks about music at a highschool level. Where some kids play music but haven't connected it with the ability to create and express your own unique emotions. I think every creative young musician should watch this.
