Marc Azéma & Florent Rivére France showed us that 30.000 years ago mankind animated the wall sculptures in their caves sliding a torch quily along the stonewall carvings. Also 15.000 years ago manking created objects that functioned as a Thaumatoop animated film. Azéma found at least 53 exemples of running animals & moving heads

This is a very interresting work from Marc Azema. But I would like to know if you can see this effect actually while standing in one of these caves looking at the paintings while a flickering fire is the only light.
The horse scraping snow off grass is amazing. It's a moment in time the artist witnessed 30,000 years ago. Brilliant work by Azema.
