I almost bought this case when I pre-ordered my S24U because I wanted a case that has a camera lens cover. However, I ended up buying the UB Mag XT instead. In my opinion, this kind of case should have the most protection on the corners, which it failed to provide.
The case did it's job. It minimized the damage to a very small scratch on the side. If you want more, you'll need an OtterBox and carry a brick.
I mean it sounds like a success especially since you dropped it outside, not just on carpet!
I think the damage inside the case is unacceptable. It should still protect the phone from this kind of damage. I wonder this is because the Ultra is pretty much rectangular? I wonder if the same would have happened if the corners were was more rounded like other models (S24 or S24+)? I just bought S24 and bought this case, so I'll let you know if anything happens!
The case is meant to absorb and minimize drops not completely protect it. We don't know how big of a fall the phone took. Based on what we see, the case did it's job.
unacceptable, because the corners should be the best protected. i suggest you to look inside the corner of the case and see if its deformed and that deformation hit the phone at the 2nd drop.i also take pride in not droping my phones but i droped my S24U in its 1st day from over 1 meter to a hard ceramic tile. it was in the single case i could find in a very short time before going to work, an original Samsung plastic hard case. no damage at all, phone or the case. i bought a few other expansive cases after that, now im using Spigen Cryo Armor for hear dissipation.
Not good for me, the case and the phone should have not gotten the corner dinged.
The protection of Spigen cases is bad.
I had the corner of my old S22 Ultra damaged after a small fall.
When I switched to the S23 Ultra I started using the Nillkin cover.
Well, my S23Ultra fell out of my pocket while I was riding a motorcycle.
To my surprise, there was no damage to the smartphone at all. Then I dropped it again from a height of 1.5m. No damage either, no marks.
Since then I only use Nillkin covers.
Bruh i have spigen clear case for my s20 fe and it's survived so many drops and throws im shocked 😂

I had this case since day 1 and can't help but feels doubtful that my phone won't have any dent if I drop it. I don't see any shock absorbent around the case. I feel that this case is just a slightly thick rubber which fits the phone like a glove.
I love the grippiness of the case but not the protection.
I'm already in the market to look for a more protective case, your video makes me feel that I should speed up my search.
It's a bit of a trade off when looking for a case. My first requirement is a cover for the camera so I don't have to worry about smudging the lens when I pick up the phone nor it getting dirty. I have half a dozen cases that I have gone through. I am pretty particular on what I am looking for. Either the case didn't provide enough grip or it was too bulky. Even the slightest bulk makes this phone feel heavier.. I ended up with the nilkin camera shield. Decent grip and the protection is adequate for what I am looking for. It won't survive big drops but I am ok with that. It'll survive small drops on rugs and in the car which I am fine with. It's comfortable in the hand.
Thanks for doing this review! It does the job, even with the ding (its not glaringly noticeable and wouldnt reduce resell value when the time comes for a trade in, which we have to admit will be inevitable with the huge amounts of trade in specials samsung has been having for new phones). Love how thin it is and that camera slide. I feel consumers are wanting the best of both worlds, unfortunately its going to be hard to find a thin case that gives 100 percent drop protection. People who want drop protection are going to have to get a bulky case.

I had S23 with this case type, I forgot it on my car and at 40 km/h speed I saw my phone taking off the car. After replacing both front and back pannels on my phone (camera system absolutely intact!!!), it is running as a new one. Since then Spingen is my favourite phone case!
I will get mine case tomorrow, the titanium edge's are a little disappointed, Is the case compatible with a glass screen protector? 🤔

u cant expect much from a case that dont have a plastic frame and rubber like otterbox these lil slip in cases aint gonna hold up
Well, the phone works, but you didn't drop it from a huge height. And the phone and case were dinged a bit. Not a good case for protection, I have dropped phones from greater heights, and there were no problems at al withl the cases or phones.
Spigen cases don't live up to all the hype, mine is useless.
I thought titanium would be tougher
Titanium like all other metals comes in many different grades. The titanium on phones like the s24 or the iPhone is not high grade nor is it pure titanium. It’s all just a sales gimmick. The steel sides that were on the older models were much stronger. Consumers are dumb and believe anything corporations say and we are living in the days where all products are made in corrupt china with very little quality control and todays products are classic example of not getting what you paid for. Products back in the day were made to last as a testament to the companies commitment to quality; today companies purposely make their products to break so you have to buy more.

@vdoestech it's disappointing you'd think titanium would be stronger and not get damaged as easy, especially with the case.
Tough armor is a better case but bulkier, I've thrown my phone across the room by accident and there's no damage on it whatsoever.

Case is horrible, fits terribly and the slider broke after one day.
For me, the fit is great, and after two drops, the camera slider hasn't changed.
Just expected better results.
