Ellie watches Vic snacking early evening after a BIG DAY. June 30, 2024

It’s been a long exciting day for the Whitehead family (me too 😉)
Not only did both eaglets fledge the nest all three, Ellie,Vic and Sid spent a long warm summer’s evening enjoying time together in and around the nest. I can only assume Eddy is out of town on a business trip. In all seriousness though it’s quite common that at the male eagles are not as involved at this time. I’ve only seen Eddy a couple of times in the last week or so. He has been spotted near by in one of our other adjacent trees.

Eddy is probably been handling the territory security while Ellie has been on flight training and securing food
