Crossovers are just tall cars. ALl cars used to be tall then they got low and sporty. What we call an SUV or Crossover today is really nothing but tall car. Easy to get into and out of and can carry a large load of people or cargo.

I am about to rebuild the stupid transmission and get rid of mine. I own a 2017 too. Cadillac blaming customers for their design problems was the last straw. I don't know if I will ever buy another Cadillac. Also, that car is not worth the money, trust me. Their goal is to build them fast and cheap, not to out compete Lexus, BMW, or Mercedes. I own a 2009 Mercedes S550 that I consider a much better car. Although when things brake, like the stupid air suspension and TCM, the car is just a wacky as the CT6. I can already tell by looking at this video the materials quality is cheap. Did I mention the terrible noise my roof liner makes or the start button that disintegrates or the arm rest button that looses it's top layer or the doors that can't stay still after opening or the uncomfortable seats or the loud engine noise or the incredibly poor turning radius or the brakes that engage a half second late after slamming on the pedal or the cheap rear cup holders that slam open like a pocket knife with a resounding cheap sound or the reverse parking sensors that think I've running into everything because it appears so on screen. Somebody forgot to tell the person who programmed it. Things aren't as close as they appear, especially the parking concrete block that stands only 4 inches tall. Try reversing knowing only your tires will touch it to discover what happens to your neck when auto-braking engages.
Damn i got a 2016 cts4 and the only problem ive had is i had to get a new transmission wire harness and 1 of the brake calipers grabs too soon. ...there is the tiad noise, rough ride, abd engine noise...i kinna dont mind the engine noise when i romp on it. Its pretty car and in sport mode, its fun to drive on a curvy road...so fir wgat i oaid fir it used wuth 70k miles...im not unhappy

I like the exterior and interior styling very much, especially interior, very sharp. I think the overall quality of materials used lets it down slightly. Cadillac is supposed to take on the traditional European big three, but hard plastics and faux woodgrain trim used as well as inconsistent gaps between trim panels especially between dashboard and doors is below par.
Every time GM finally makes something nice they stop selling it in the States?! They make terrible business decisions sometimes . This is a perfect example of that.

I'd like to know what the MSRP of that car is in U$D? My bet is at least $75,000 after I saw the Leather, LED light show, auto folding mirrors, 3D Cameras & moon roof. All those things extra cost in $$$ packages. I've gotta say however, the car has an upscale appearance especially on the inside surfaces & finishes. My new CT5-V lacks some of those niceties & mine is Premium loaded. At least it has a healthy engine, not a 2.0L four cylinder for the money 💰

Cadillac is going to shoot themselves in the foot by only offering new EV's in North America. If I have to pay the premium cost an EV has then I'm going to cross shop a lot harder instead of staying with the brand. I have two Cadillacs now that I want to update and an AWD Lyriq won't be attainable via ordering for over a year and the CT5 is too outdated to consider. GM knows how to kill the brand.

I've owed every generation CTS, SRX, and XT5, and my 18 CTS needs to be upgraded. The current CT5 interior and tech is terrible. If it had this interior and front end redesign I'd buy it. Cadillac knows best how to kill their brand and make their last few loyal customers cross shop.

Cadillac stop making both the XTS & CT6 in the U.S...they replace both with the 2 ugliest Cadillac sedans ever created in the CT4 & CT5. Those 2 cars DOESN'T even look like Cadillac brands AT ALL!! They have no luxury look to them at all inside and out!! I have a 2016 Cadillac XTS Platinum V-Sport that screams luxury and I ALWAYS get TONS of compliments almost daily with my car. If GM/Cadillac had a lot of these features in this 2024 CT6 on their previous XTS & other CT6 models when they 1st came out...they would still be selling to this day!!

CT5 is only a few years old. It hasn't even had a mid-cycle refresh yet.
