I never heard this before I listened to Amira singing it. Don't think Ray Vandenburg wrote it, he's just the guy who takes Amira songs and puts fantastic videos behind them. Often with subtitles in English. There is another version of this one with less Christian imagery, it has ballet dancers swooping to the music. The lyrics still convey optimism and hope though. Amira likes an inspirational song. Watch Zoals vrienden done, it's one of the few Amira has sung in her native Dutch, but Ray V has put a fantastic video, with English lyrics, behind it, and it's got such a positive vibe, and of course, Amira 's soaring vocals.
