"I know Jiu Jitsu and will dominate UFC. Caracci Jiu Jitsu! Huh? What do you mean wrong type of Jiu Jitsu? What's the right one? Gracie Jiu Jitsu? Ohhhh Shhh...."
This just goes to show the progression of the sport. Most bjj guys didn’t know how to strike. Obviously there are exceptions Rua and Belfort come to mind. I think the lack of striking ability is why the gracies left in such a hurry. They were going to start running into top level wrestlers and didn’t want to chance losing to one. Obviously bjj guys have an advantage with submissions but in my opinion they were mostly terrible at strikes.
that's my dad
Your dad is 1 tough sob
Laverne is a tough guy
At least you had the balls to get in the octagon
Much respect Frank. Anyone who steps in the Octagon or Ring has my respect.
And Frank you’re a tough dude too. You lasted a good amount of time in there with Laverne.
Laverne was a freaking specimen. I always felt with the stars aligned he would have been a champion.
Don't understand why Clark wasnt so famous he fid an excellent job
laverne clark was one of my favorites to watched.. felt so good seeing him KO fabiano iha. boxing > mma

Road To The Heavyweight Championship!!! I remember this event. If you can, please upload Bas Rutten vs Tsuyoshi Kosaka
Caracci was the last fighter in the UFC to wear a gi in the cage

good fight, brother :)
I thought his name was pronounced car-rachi
So basically, levern has a seven inch reach on caracci!!!
Point proven sometimes BJJ works and sometimes it doesn't!!
Is the universal law, it depends on the fighter, not the style, Laverne was a better fighter.
@@temoherbertlopez6019 True its not about belts, styles! Its the fighter!!
Darrell Simmons Japanese jiu jitsu is much different ... dude wasn’t a bjj black belt
