A). It's a self defense tool. Therefore you wouldn't carry it to cut boxes B). Self defense is far more important than every day utility crap. C). Along with my G34 & 2 spare mags,, I carry 4 EDC knives. A small knife - R boot, a Ka-Bar TDI on my belt L, a 2.5 " blade on belt @ small of my back, and a 2.5" folding knife in my R front pocket for utility purposes. I would definitely carry this. D) Have a designated knife for self defense, and one for utility. Be purpose driven.

Awesome viddy as usual. I must say, that knife looks really badass, and the design alone is freakin amazing. In self defense mode, even if you’re not quick enough to deploy the blade, you could probably do some major damage with the weight of that bad boy alone. Great review. 👍
not trying to out your video down.. a chisel grind is always sharper than any conventional grind. less surface = less friction = more sharp thats why we use chisel grinds on wood carving tools.
@@ChrispyThings The more moving parts a weapon has, the weaker it is. I had a Provoke in my hand. It even felt like a toy. But thats just me. Maybe other people like it. I just don't.
@@KraljCorvin my normal edc is cold steel, lately the immortal, but the provoke is now in the rotation. I clip it in my back pocket and good to go. Solid lock up, solid knife.
A very entertaining and (more importantly) persuasive product review. I'm not sure if it was your salesmanship or the fact that AAFES had a great salebut a CRKT Provoke has been added to my folding knife collection! Thanks...I think(?).
Hey Chrispy Things, great video! We appreciate your honest review of the Provoke™ Desert Sand and thank you for taking the time to post. 👊
Thanks for taking the time to watch it!

Got one in TX, Thanksgiving 2022, for $205. Love it and all the pluses you mentioned, spot on!
I got one and now I feel like a velociraptor. 😎

Is it practical? Hell no.
Is it affordable? Hell no.
Is it really needed? Hell no.
Would I still buy it if I had money? Hell yes. 😂😂😂
Haha
"So why get it if you wouldn't reach for it for most tasks? Look how cool it is!" I just love that this alone sells the blade.
GREAT VIDEO!!! Just found one new, on eBay in Earth for $145.00 can’t wait for it to get here!
Another great review. Love the knife and just when I was thinking about a pocket clip......BOOM!. Love it.

That’s true!
I think it would be cool if they put some sort of bearing in the loop on the handle
The kid in me loves it. The adult in me knows it's too big and heavy and tactical for me to comfortably carry it.
The Provoke is so cool. Nice video.
This sells me! Definitely getting it
If you think it is expensive check the Microtech Auto karambit! Got the black version. In Europe it is even more expensive ...
Absolutely. Microtech is top notch.
Extremely awesome!🤘
It’s on Amazon for 165 . Pretty bad ass knife but hardly use it lol
Love the channel dude
HELL.................................YES!!!!
It looks good but it is as reliable as a regular karambit?
Hassaan A Reliable as in will it work the same as a normal Karambit? Absolutely.
I've been watching this knife on Amazon for about a year too. The black one. No giveaway?!? :(

Glad to know that’s what you took away from the video. Lol.
Hahaha the ending was priceless 🤣😭😂
🤣
Cool af!
Do you still have two of these? And would you like to sell one?
Dang wouldn’t want to drop that in the sand
👍
I think you're gonna get me stabbed cause I want one 🤣🤣
Ha let’s hope not!
Yoooo
Expensive toy. Too many moving parts to use it as a real close and personal defense weapon.
When it’s locked in, it’s perfectly useful.

I agree with more moving parts the weaker it is. I just didn’t feel that with the Provoke. But these are all just opinions. Thanks for watching!

Cool by but useless
...maybe if I lived in one of these liberal places I might want it for defense from a "peaceful protester".
Its technical design is unique and brilliant. However, it looks pretty ugly, and is selling at too high a price.
Thanks for your comment but did you just say ugly? We couldn’t be farther from agreeing on this one. Lol
