When I’m climbing over rocks,
I usually use the belt and tie it round my rods, like a guitar strap and just sling them over my shoulder like I’m carrying a guitar.As for the bucket, I use a small hook( for hanging kitchen utensils.. my wife doesn’t know it😃!) and I just hook it onto my belt at the back.
This keeps my hands free , in order to break my fall, which has happened a few times.

Nice one at the end, good size male. That's how its done. I spot fish mine all the time in places I know they frequent. Present any shell fish on the bottom on a weighted hook, or even use a brown bucktail jig and your good to go. Best tasting fish hands down

Bro, are using 6foot rods? I use a 9ft medium light for salmon and steelhead, i live in Washington state, when you took the rod cover off it seemed like its only a 6ft
