Thank you so much TheBunduBallerina for all of your videos. The time you must spend on these must be immense and I so appreciate all the effort you put into them. I especially love these compilation videos of dancers from the same companies.
The R&J PDD at 4:40 is one of the most enjoyable ones I've seen! They are so lively like true young love, and the way Juliet throws away Romeo's mask! Really made me smile.
Leonore Baulac, Ludmila Pagliero, Myriam Old-Braham and Alice Renavand are my favourites; (and of course Aurelie Dupont). Thank you for this amazing video.
Myriam Old-Braham is the most brilliant exquisite Beauty. She shows us where the Ballett comes from. The court in Versailles would be most excited about her appearence.
Marie-Agnès Gillot just retired in march (from Paris Opera, she's still dancing on other projects), but the website is not updated yet. That being said, I really like this kind of videos !
She has so much personality, great dancer, so sad : life is short and a ballerina' s life is shorter ! She has a son and I am sure that she has a beautiful life !
Sensational! After all, Paris is the land of ❤️ Love! You Can Never miss! They are all sooo Beautiful! Now, I have to take one of My energy Drinks, so I can get back up from the floor! Congratulations to all of The ballerinas!
Професионализм где он тут? Если так рассуждать то вы не видели истинно хороших балерин. Француженка Гием была и есть наилучшая из всех, а остальные были бы только в русском кордебалете.
fvsuvdf Their styles are quite different. The POB loves precise foot positions and also strong ankles while the Vaganova loves beautifully slim fitness with a soft upper body.
I disagree. If technique meant "show your useless extensions while doing circus tricks" and art meant "put rather a huge smile or a sad face on, without any possible transition or shade between these two expressions", yes, Russians would be the best ballerinas.
Most ballerinas jump heavily and dance with shoulders up. Sad. Pretty low level with few exceptions. The airiness, lightness and elegance of the French style of dance that we know from previous generations are gone.
I'd say the basic problem is not technique, but personality. She's too cool and distant for Kitri, her forte is elegance and control, better for other roles.
Total respect for beautiful technique act 3 don Q , the tempo taken lost me with this work of art on the passes even Dotty was stumped and im sure questioned ..... I get high leg extensions these days . But a releve passé derrière 🤨x
I do sincerely apologise but whoever did Kitri was not very good at all! I do not mean to offend , I’m just stating my own opinion. Maybe I’ve watching too much Russian ballet all evening. 🩰🩰🩰🩰🩰
Просмотрите балет в исполнении солистки, молодой неопытной, не этуали. Так танцуют русские балерины. ua-cam.com/video/rOUSvVFpG8w/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/lDPWAXK4hjs/v-deo.html

Thanks so much for your beautiful comment, Elizabeth! It is one of the most encouraging comments I have received.
Fantastic video¡¡¡ I specially like Giselle's variation by Amandine Albisson.
Well I cannot thank you enough for your amazing videos!!!
Agreed!
No Aurelie Dupont??? Is there a reason?

Always a joy watching your clips. Thank you.😂
Thank you so much 😊
Gorgeous , phenomenal dancing - a treat to watch. Thank you for this compilation!
It's a great pleasure. Thank you for your lovely comment.

So beautiful, can't stop watching them!!!

Thank you for this compilation of such elegant dancers with beautiful arms and feet. The costumes are also beautiful. Of course, they are French. C❤❤
Fanny I think she meant the costumes (French fashion) 😉
Amazing❤
This dance of Giselle is special and memorable
WAOOO Amandine Albisson is extraordinary! I love her Giselle variation OMG..So perfect.
1:51 holy moly
That balance in arabesque ending in penche without coming down from pointe was pretty spectacular
She gives me hope for POB.
Some lovely dancing here, very impressed: thanks for posting.
Léonore Baulac is exquisite! I love her childlike Juliet who is only awakening to adult emotions in this pas de deux.
So pretty!!!!! She reminds me to Alessandra Ferri in that role
Marie-Agnès Gillot just retired in march (from Paris Opera, she's still dancing on other projects), but the website is not updated yet. That being said, I really like this kind of videos !
Thanks for the information. Glad you like these videos.

Es muy tranquilizante ver este hermoso ballet
Thank you very much.

Thank You.
Thank you!!! Delighted to see this 😊. Loving the company specific compilations. Best wishes.
It's a pleasure! :)
This is graceful the music attractive to dance to
La gran y genuina escuela de la Opera de París esencia del ballet 😍❤❤👍🏻👍🏻🙌👏🏻👏🏻⭐⭐⭐⭐☀️🌞🩰👑🇲🇫
Ludmila Pagliero was pretty amazing; dancing in Bayadere's, Gamzatti variation.
Just amazing!
Wonderful........... I loved it 😍😍👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻
Very different interpretation from the Marinsky. This is youthful and romantic the Marinsky is magical
Fantastic!!!
Seulement Alice Renavand elle m'a impressionne: technique, energie, temperament et construction harmonieuse - une belle danceuse.
Sensational! After all, Paris is the land of ❤️ Love! You Can Never miss! They are all sooo Beautiful! Now, I have to take one of My energy Drinks, so I can get back up from the floor! Congratulations to all of The ballerinas!
Excellent
Gillot is phenomenal !!!
I do not believe that this is paris opera's best...no way.
Yes, I am also often puzzled by why certain dancers become Etoiles at the POB when other dancers of lower rank seem far better to me.
Very lyrical and poetical interpretation
Les étoiles françaises sont parmi les meilleurs♥️

magnifique
Красота❤
It is mágicas!
Technically muy competant very much in control
Что это за вариация из Дон Кихота? Как с крыши падают капли
Althought I am French, today russian prima ballerina -mainly from Vaganova school- are both technically and artistically better
fvsuvdf Their styles are quite different. The POB loves precise foot positions and also strong ankles while the Vaganova loves beautifully slim fitness with a soft upper body.
I disagree.

Some are lackluster.
Poor Dorothe had a terrible conductor
Wasn't working with her at all
Sae Eun Park isn't an étoile ?
Not yet, she is a soloist
She premier danseuse.
Most ballerinas jump heavily and dance with shoulders up. Sad. Pretty low level with few exceptions. The airiness, lightness and elegance of the French style of dance that we know from previous generations are gone.
I wish I was wrong, but the technique of Dorothee Gilbert is so poor here...I watch for the 3rd time and can’t but notice multiple mistakes...
I agree. I watch her frequently and this isn’t her best performance at all.
I'd say the basic problem is not technique, but personality. She's too cool and distant for Kitri, her forte is elegance and control, better for other roles.
She actually just came back from a serious calf injury when this was shot.
Eu não falo francês mas eu quero ser ilqual a você
Hello how are you
My name 's Ana
Whast' s your name?
Total respect for beautiful technique act 3 don Q , the tempo taken lost me with this work of art on the passes even Dotty was stumped and im sure questioned ..... I get high leg extensions these days . But a releve passé derrière 🤨x
Well May be Pagliero is quite good but the others nothing special!!!
I do sincerely apologise but whoever did Kitri was not very good at all! I do not mean to offend , I’m just stating my own opinion. Maybe I’ve watching too much Russian ballet all evening. 🩰🩰🩰🩰🩰
😂 I understand about watching too much Russian ballet, it’s addictive.
The orchestra was way off in tempo.
Deliziosa
Russia has a better level than opéra de Paris...russia technique is unbelievable and physical skills more demanding than french one
Possibly but they are so robotic
the movement and techniques are different in the 2 systems. Danish system is even more difficult to handle. it is not the matter of ballerinas
Appreciation of any Art is subjective. It is not for nothing that we have the saying in English "One man's meat is another man's poison"...!
Russians can never surpass a French dancer’s footwork and balance!
@@liobu3097 agree. They are different types of training and performing
Извините, но по сравнению с русскими балеринами эти французкие этуали ну просто кошмар.

Dorothee Gilbert est nulle!!!
