  • NFL quarterback legend Michael Vick appeared on VladTV to share insights into his life, from growing up in a challenging environment to his illustrious career in the NFL. Growing up as the second oldest of four children in a neighborhood plagued by violence, Vick reflected on his experience and spoke about witnessing a murder at a young age, which motivated him to work towards a life where his kids would not have to face such cruelties. Also, he touched on difficult topics like his complicated relationship with his father, who had a drug problem. His devotion to football started from a young age when his father threw him a football, and eventually, he became a trailblazer as a quarterback with unrivaled rushing abilities. Vick talked about attending Virginia Tech after not being highly recruited out of high school and explained why he left college early for the NFL. After talking about the transition into the life of an NFL player, Vick detailed his achievements throughout his NFL career and, ultimately, his comeback following his prison. To hear more, check out the full interview above.

I like how Vick handled questions in this interview. Future interviewees need to take notes. He controlled the interview. He answered question the way he wanted to without divulging every last detail Vlad wanted. He didn't hesitate to correct Vlad when he was wrong

Vlad tried to get him to be angry about the past, asked leading questions, and Mike calmly shut that shit down with answers that showed true growth. Thanks MV!! I learned something from you today.

But what I admired the most was how he presented himself as a black man in this city. I gained an enormous amount of respect for him. After seeing this video, I have gained an even higher level of respect.

He paid his debt, he didn’t cry about it, he didn’t point fingers, he took accountability and came out the other side and made it happen. My respect for him is 20/10! What happen w the dogs is heart breaking. But Mike made changes, didn’t talk about changes. Passed laws and made a difference. Love you MIKE!

I am a lifelong resident of Philadelphia. I remember when Mike Vick took over as the starter. I had no problem with the Eagles signing him. He did his time. The moment he took the field it was something special. It was the most exciting chapter in Eagles history. Mike Vick was explosive, could throw the ball deep and the dynamic when he took off running full speed capped it off. He made ever fan nervous on more than a few occasions. He took some hard hits but got up and kept going. What impressed me the most was seeing Mike having fun out there, being a leader, and taking it all in. We will always love Mike Vick in Philadelphia and will forever be grateful for his time as an Eagle. I have so much respect for the man off the field. He was able to handle being the $100 million dollar quarterback, falling down into the abyss being released from Atlanta and picked up by a system that so many Americans find themselves in as a country with the largest prison population. 24 months in one of the toughest prisons would break many people. He was able to keep his mind and body intact. A different Mike Vick got released from the system. In my opinion it was the best version of Mike Vick once he arrived in Philadelphia. I was happy to see him flourish as a starter. I wish him and his family nothing but the best going forward in life. We are living in unprecedented times. We all go thru ups and downs. Lately it seems like most people have had to deal with more down moments with all that has happened as of late. Going back and watching the highlights from Mike Vick's time here in Philly helped pick me up when I was down at times. We all make mistakes in this life. What we do following those mistakes is what's truly important and if you focus on moving forward, without any excuses and put in the effort, any one of us can dig ourselves put from a rut and shine. Learn from it all and give advice to others if it is at all possible. We can all improve ourselves each and everyday. Best of luck to everyone out there.

Mike isnt a bad guy as he is painted out to be, first things first he was a victim of his circumstances he was surrounded by people he grew up with and he thought were genuine and the way that they lived growing up was normal to them but wrong or abnormal to the high class/rich folk he ended up around because of his skills. I give him a lot of credit for growing and maturing through all of the bullshit and being a decent human being and also being able to get back up on his own two feet and take care of his responsibilities as a man. Much respect vick

Surprising mistakes by Vlad. The shows I saw he was right on. Yes, he did try to get Mike to be uncomforterble. But he 😢did not bite. He was very patient and did not want to dwell on anything, politely correct if necessary and let's move on. He bounced back after problems.
