If you want to join cruise as an officer, than you should be having 5years+ sailing time. [10 voyages of 6 months ] as an officer not cadet. And it should be on a experienced ship like maersk eee, msc gulsun etc... Then you are 'eligible' for cruise. But sorry you can't join cruise directly, you should be having a source in it. The same company calls you for joining as third officer... 10-15 yrs ago when there was shortage of officers a few companies used to give bonus also if their cadets join back as third officers....

As per imu broucher:- There shall be no evidence of any morbid condition of either eye or of the lids of either eye which may be liable to risk of aggravation or recurrence. Candidates must possess good binocular vision (Fusion faculty and full field of vision in both eyes). Movement of the eyeballs must be full in all directions and the pupils should react normally to light and accommodation. Normal colour vision shall be tested by Ishihara Test Chart. Distance Vision unaided 1.0*(6/6) in better eye and 0.67*(6/9) in other eye.
