I wish they didnt cut the scenes so much u dont realize from the show that they all learned the whole choreo all the way through, its such a production to have mostly non dancers get this level of detail and it looks fantastic!

I just wanna say, if you watch closely, the jump up in proficiency, skill, and intensity, from Luther in this video to the aired version is remarkable. I'd wager he practiced his ass off, over and over and over, energizer bunny style, maybe took private lessons before they did the version used, because while he does well, it's such a noticeable improvement imo.
I'm glad modern media is more open to these sort of scenes and we are seeing them in unexpected places. "Legion" had this amazing Ballywood sequence that just helped bring the audience into the qeird weird world of the character, and stuff like The Flash etc doing musical episodes is fun and subversive, but can pay homage to the often rather silly and cartoonish roots of comics as a art form. As someone that has been part of some group choreography stuff, ita a rare and unique experience when it all works just right, even more so when you arent a dancer by occupation.
