Definitely a tight fit, but they do assemble nicely! I've never been able to get grease to do more than just squish out the nearest exit path on the ball - even when I've oriented one of the thru passages on the halves with the zerk. Heck, I've even put a chamfer on the outside of the mating halves in the hopes that grease might find its way around... nope. Glad to hear that the "grease on assembly, shrug, and run it" philosophy I've settled on is the approved one. LOL Almost seems a waste to put the zerks on!
I'm glad to see the holes on the new orange inserts breaking through the outer face - in the couple times I've disassembled and reassembled several of these, I've always had to overbore the holes to get things to play nice and allow free passage. Hopefully that's evidence of slightly bigger holes. 😊
Minor things aside, I have no doubt these joints, like the rest of the lift, will outlast my WJ - which is why I went premium with IRO in the first place - there's no chance these will be the weak link! Great product and support, direct with Patrick when I've needed it. Thanks, guys!

I have these and have been happy with them. However, can you explain why the Track Bar Joints do not have zirc fittings?

Hi, you could drill and tap the end if you wanted to add a grease fitting, but it's not necessary. These stay so tight that it's not needed. Just grease them when assembling, and torque to spec and they are good to go 🙂

I have also purchased the upper control arm mount flex joint. Since it is installed in the cast mount on the differential, would it be a good idea to install a grease zerk in there? Drilling and tapping for one wouldn't be hard.

You certainly could do that if you wish. However, when greased properly on assembly, these are a "set it and forget it" product :-)

Do you have one of these that can replace Teraflex’s old Flexjoint? They have discontinued them, looking for a better alternative to boot.

Would these joints hold up to the weight of a Ram Power Wagon if a guy wanted to build his own arms?

We would not hesitate to use these in a Power Wagon build. 🙂
