Today we go back to an old concept I had, where I would start with what I considered the max amount of Luck, which was 3480, and top that. Not just by making the number go big, but for a reason. Most enemies have a chance to drop a crate, and to maximize said chance we need exactly 9900 Luck. Meaning not only will we have the best possible Luck for the shop, but also while we fight on the stage.

Also, why don't you let piggy bank stack up your money? As you pointed out, the reroll cost eventually outweighs the cost of the items. Just let your piggy bank scale your money into the 10k+ range

@ILikeGuns1992 It's an old running gag on this channel. Do you know the shmoop item? In german, Shmoopy Poopy (i mixed german with English in my comment, it should have been a "y" at the end) could be a silly nickname for someone's wife. Or even for the husband. It's probably not very common, but i'm pretty sure there are some people that use it.
"Oh Schmoopie poopie, i love you sooo much!" (That's the german version again, but it's pronounced exactly the same as the English one. Now you know how to pronounce the two most confusing letter combinations in german, the "sch" and the "ie". It's just "sh" and a long "y" in english.)
And guess what Dex did with the item... Until he forgot about poor Shmoopie Poopie. I think you could even make a small compilation of Dex flirting with the shmoop... Well, at least he mentioned it once more after this comment, so it had a somewhat proper send-off.

The torture pickup was insane. You took a hp regen loss for the item at the time of pickup ignoring all other healing that you had access to.

The Drill's bonus applies to all of your weapons, like a built in hunting trophy. Like if you had the drill and killed an enemy with the chain gun, you would get a material as long as it was a crit.

35:14 Oh I thought you were looking for a different legendary. 😂 You had the sledge in the shop ages ago. It either showed up first slightly before or slightly after gettingnthe drill I think. May have been the laser gattling but there have been way too many red items.

If i'm not mistaking, the game gives you more of the items of a particular rarity, more you buy it and ignore all the other rarities (best with legendaries)

I didnt watch the guide to see how up to date it is, but I remember watching it back then and not that much has changed.

There's an item in the game called the bag or something like that, you should have got that one.
I would test the computer on how many waves it could handle with all the scaling going on.

A couple of things are justified, the bag one was really a big miss on my side that would have actually helped. For the rest I really have to hold back to not wish someone to step into a puddle right after putting on fresh socks. Which includes:
-comments about Torture as if the regen was in any way relevant, we didn't even lose despite me using a weapon that breaks the Tardigrades
-comments on how I went for Melee damage despite using a ranged weapon. The weapon scales with melee damage, it shows the melee symbol, and it's damage keeps going up
-comments on not picking the perfect items. It's a modded run where I pretty much gain god powers, I really don't think wasting 3x the amount of time on items that barely affect anything is relevant. Heck, I even considered just removing the Triangle of Power via modding after I got the Scythe, but when I noticed it changes nothing I didn't bother
-I'm split on comments about Nuclear Launcher, though the irony is either it's wished for to be kept, or wished for to never be picked. But the thing is without it the other ranged weapons would've just destroyed everything instead. The one legendary with a triple shot shoots 100 bullets a second. Then it has to reload though, where the other can take over
-only 1 comment on "Why though", which is surprising. Usually modded videos get a lot more comments on them. While I do think it's a waste of time to write that, a lot of people are new and don't know that the Brotato playlist is approaching 100 videos and was beat ages ago, and don't really see the fun in modding. So at most I'd say it's a bit weird to write it (as in, finding something boring as a singular person and then writing it as if that means it should be boring for everyone)

Yea, I agree that made a big difference, wouldnt have died on wave 20, maybe might have even gotten to wave 50 with some min-max :(
@@DexTag you absolutely made it super far and your point about the healing not mattering once enemies are that strong is on point. The thing that made me check the comments was buying multiple items that only gave lifesteal or regen that also had downsides for stats you were using.
I've never made videos but my understanding is that it's actually incredibly difficult to give high quality commentary and keep full game focus, especially for repetitive sections like opening crates or the shop so I more than understand.

Because after a certain wave your hp don't matter anymore, you get oneshot by everything. The only thing in late game that helps are dodge and tardigrades.

Half of infinity is not a normal number but obviously a game can't have a stat set to infinity. I'd wager that most stats are stored as 16 bit signed integers which would result in a max of 32,767. He mentioned halving rates for item drops and I'm not sure how the game calculates it but dividing that number by 2 ten times leaves only 32. Exponential change is something else

if you wanna try something new get GMO mod so you can join two characters together and join Renegade with another Renegade, so you get -160% of %damage modifiers, so basically +%dmg is -%dmg and vice versa
