Fellow redhead that looks gorgeous in grays!!! Thank you! I was going through my shadows and realized that I have a TON of shimmer gray shadow that I never ever wear because like blue, gray scares a ginger! I'm going to try this with the shadows I have. Love the post. Thanks again!!!
Oh, ME TOO! That would be the ultimate palette! I like the shimmery shades, but sometimes they're just too much. Sometimes ya just want a matte eye!

I love grays , they just do something for my mysterious dark blue eyes. I have a Cover Girl eye shadow that is real similar to that deep gray .

I hear ya - I wanted to use Blackout for the longest time and found that applying it in a more "hidden" way in a combination really helped it to not be so strong. I agree with kupox1 too! More real neutral daytime looks are in order! :)

How did I miss this tutorial? You give me so many new ideas for ways to combine the shadows in this palette - things I'd never think of (I'm always so wary of Blackout and similar shades). Aww YAYYYYY!!!! So happy to hear that you got it to work! It might also help to keep the black focused on more of the outer 1/3 of the lid rather than the outer half as shown here, to keep it from looking like a black eye. ;) Big hugs to you!!! :D

I think it's a worthwhile investment, as I do mix the two more frequently than using them separately. However, I did do a MAC dupe comparison with the Naked2 palette you may find helpful on my blog at myeyeshadowconsultant(dot)com - if you have a few MAC eyeshadows, you may already own the dupes for the Naked2 palette!
