Thanks for highlighting Technocide! This Next Fest has been very busy getting the streams to work. I also got some messages from passionate players, which is the greatest feeling in the world!
Realm Of Ink - Really looks like a challenger to Hades with the ink-like look and Eastern theme. Abathor - up to 4P coop, sign me up: Looks like serious fun with friends platform combater - great art style. It's great when the devs surreptiously allow "jostling" between friends often "accidentally again" leading to one friend tipping off an edge every so often! Never Grave: The Witch And The Curse - Does look like potential hit material, with stylistic graphics, sharp controls and throw in other features and has an all round attractive and enjoyable vibe. Pacific Drive - Looks impressive, a game like Roadside Picnic / Stalker and evocative. Be interesting to see the survival gameplay options and supernatural/extra-terrestrial threats. Pepper Grinder - Has some inventive movement dynamics for sure! Great job here. Keep the good stuff coming!
I gave the demo of "Realm of Ink" a spin and I'm sold on the bosses not being obnoxiously damage-spongy like the Hades ones. Alone the fight with one of the Furies takes up to 10 minutes, while the first boss of Ink Blood goes down in 3-5.
Thanks. I found some games I'd like to try out (Technocide, Raw Metal, Berserk Boy, Pepper Grinder, Realm of Ink and Abathor) from your list of recommendations.
You can try our demo during the Next Fest! "Nuke Them All" is an exciting indie RTS game set to launch in 2024, and we've already released the Demo. It's a unique game in the style of classic golden-era RTS titles like Z, KKND, and C&C Red Alert. The primary objective is to capture flags and territories, speeding up production, upgrading factories, and ultimately destroying the enemy fort!
I tried the demo for Emberbane and what i noticed is that the game takes A LOT of inspiration from Blasphemous, but I'm interested in seeing how the game's development progresses and if they will add more attack combos and all that.
12:16 Arco has another game mechanic that their trailer talks about making combat more dynamic. SPOILERS BELOW There is a morality system, and if you do immoral stuff, you start to also face enemies that DON'T pause when you're picking your next move. Very cool gameplay twist.
When I thought I couldn't find more demos to download (I had 50 downloaded and ready to play already, besides the ones I already played last week), you showed me Creature Keeper. Thanks! I know how hard to make this tops is, but if you are interested in some recommendations, STAND-ALONE is also a great action roguelite and Clonizer is a fresh deckbuilder roguelite. Also, apparently, I am a bigger Realm of Ink fan than the average player 😅.
Oh, wow, didn't know Necrosmith did well enough for a sequel! As a Drill Dozer fan I'm looking forward to Pepper Grinder releasing some day. Drill, baby, drill!
Haven't played any of the metroidavnias yet (I got about 30 demos). Do wanna give a shout out to Ereban: Shadow legacy, as a really slick stealth-action game with a really nice art style- and the demo is much more colourful than the initial reveal. Looks like a nice, stage-based wide-linear AA action game, so hopefully it does well (launching on GamePass should hopefully help) Also, Detective: Ritual of the Sea. which seems like a really neat puzzler. I've absolutely hated how the Burrow ability in Ori 2 controlled, so I don't have high hopes for Pepper Grinder; Will give the demo a try, though.
WOW just looked at the trailer and aesthetically it is like a dreamscape version of Colorado in the fall. Seriously impressive. and I liked the music too.
@@Dratio i dunno maybe stormgate? which is the most anticipated rts game. or children of the sun which is published by devolver. i'm sure opening the trending list would give some better games than some listed here.
There is literally a sub-genre of Hollow Knight-likes by now. There's also Deviator, Lotus Knight, Phosphi... there was that stained-glass-themed MV that came out 2 years ago and reviewed really badly, too.
Thanks. I found some games I'd like to try out (Technocide, Raw Metal, Berserk Boy, Pepper Grinder, Realm of Ink and Abathor) from your list of recommendations.

Thanks for featuring Realm of Ink in your channel again! Appreciate it!
Woah thanks so much!! I really appreciate you featuring Crypt Custodian! This fest is pretty stacked, tons of great games here
Crypt Custodian is a masterpiece! Thank you for all the amazing games you have created!
Everyone should try out the Hauntii demo too!
10/10 artstyle and interesting possession mechanic > best demo i tried so far ^_^
It was on my wishlist but I removed it. However, when I saw the demo pop up I downloaded it and I'll try.
thanks for the video, every time I finish one of your videos my wish list grows
oh boy, the F-Zero clone is the F-Zero I've been waiting for many years, and I wouldn't have known about him if it weren't for you. Thanks Clemmy :D
Eden's guardian and Awaken - Astral Blade were both surprisingly cool games
Thank you for showing everyone the Best Indie Games! 😄Hope you never run out of amazing indies to find! Good luck👍
So many demos that I filled my hard drive with them and now I'm working on recording gameplay for my channel! I am going to have a busy few weeks
Seriously, this is the best Next Fest yet! Absolutely spoiled for choice on all fronts.
just bought a steam deck oled this channel is so helpful discovering indie games
oh no mention of Sword of Convallaria... I'm so hyped for that game
Looks pretty but it’s a free to play gatcha game 😕
Lots of great games, Abathor and Star Racer look really awesome!
Thanks Clemmy, really looking forward to Kingsgrave and Morbid Lords of Ire
🙂🙂🙂
Duel Corp and Raw Metal both look gorgeous!

Hell yeah! my favourite Steam Event.

Thank you so much for the list, gonna check them out!
Ultros is easily the stand-out demo for me, so happy it comes out so soon.
I would like to mention Emberbane demo too
I highly recommend Blazblue Entropy Effect
Oh, wow, didn't know Necrosmith did well enough for a sequel!

Can i also recommend a game that some friends are making? Albatroz, it is a very unique game.
I'll check it out.

Lista de jogos incríveis! Parabéns!!!
I love watching your videos and and filling my steam wish list :D
Check out 'Deviator' demo also
Good selection.
backpack battles looks good, need something new like backpack hero
Steam Next Festival February 2023 - you sure about 2023? ;-)
Whoops!
If any game should be called an F-Zero-like, Star Racer looks like a top contender.
Ultros should be on this list
Great list. From the ones I've played I loved Berserk Boy and Pepper Grinder!
For the people that like RTS, the God Sworn demo is fun and the premise of the game is good, but so far there's only 2 factions
Nahhh F-Zero like is a perfect description, That game looks like a clone of F-Zero lol.
there's no way half of these arent paid ads. because some of these cant possibly be in the top 25 games in next fest
Which ones do you think should replace them?
@@Dratio i dunno maybe stormgate? which is the most anticipated rts game. or children of the sun which is published by devolver. i'm sure opening the trending list would give some better games than some listed here.
@@DratioHauntii, Ultros and Tiny Terry's Turbo Trip were all great, you gotta try them.
@@alex_oiman stormgate sucks
Also Reus 2
This is 2024, dude.
we should not call the fzero clone a fzero clone? wtf.
Another pocket pair game that looks identical to another very popular game….shameless
never grave is pathetic, and ppl thought crowsworn was bad.
There is literally a sub-genre of Hollow Knight-likes by now. There's also Deviator, Lotus Knight, Phosphi... there was that stained-glass-themed MV that came out 2 years ago and reviewed really badly, too.
never grave does look p cool but pocketpair as a company gives me the ick so ill force myself to avoid it
