- I recently lost one of my best friends. I sat down and filmed a really long video talking about it the other day, but haven't had the guts to share it yet. I did want to give you guys a small update, letting you know why I've been gone. I also will be donating any ad revenue from this video to the American cancer society. All love ❤️

Lost my dad in October 2016 to cancer. So it's just been a year. He was my best friend. Biggest support system. The one I'd always go to for a hug or advice. It's hard. It's really hard. You don't really ever stop missing them, you just adjust to their absence. It's so hard not being able to even call or text them.. But stay strong. Things get easier. People are put in your life for a reason. Take the lessons memories you've had with them and never let them go. Hope your friend rests in paradise. The pain is gone. Fuck cancer.

It absolutely breaks my heart to hear about these kind of things. But getting to understand that this is the reality of life. My mom just lost her best friend of 39 years from Cancer and someone who was like an aunt to me. I lost my grandma to cancer when I was 9 years old and that was really hard for me to handle at a young age. I have had many many family members and friends pass away in just 17 years of my life and to understand that each person that passes you will grieve differently for all of them. Everybody deals with death differently so we all have to come together and be there for one another. ❤️
So so sorry girl. Death is so hard, it’s never easy and never will be. Take your time and only post the video if you feel led to. We love you 💖

I lost my Mum to cancer on 23rd December 2015. At the time, I was only 13 and it was heart breaking. I wish you all the best Hayley! ❤️
I just found out yesterday that my dad has cancer in his kidney and possibly in his bladder. We dont know the full extent until his cancer center appt on the 7th. So please upload the video. I know I still have him in my life but I think the video can be really beneficial to others. And its nice to relate with people even when its a sad subject. I think its good for the soul to come together and be positive as a group. So sorry to hear about your friend. It must have been really hard. I commend you for sharing something so private with us. Hey Hayley I’m so sorry for your loss I understand the struggle I lost my mom to cancer also when I was like 12 years old and oh boy what a pain I suffer so much over and I assume u did also cause we both lost someone so close to us and it just shocking that we won’t see them anymore. I understand if you want to take a break from UA-cam you deserve to grief as long as you want because this is very hard to go through. We understand you it’s hard we love you 💕. This is a hard thing to go through but word of advice, don’t stop living life enjoy every moment of it. Because Ik that your friend Nd my mom is looking out for us and they won’t us to stop living your life. Again I’m so sorry Hayley I wish I can you a hug LOL, feel better and live life 💕

And I just finished the video; I'm sorry for your loss and I'm glad you are now in a better state where you can grieve but still appreciate the impact that he's had on your life. You were both really lucky to have had each other and although you will never forget how it felt to lose someone so close to you, time does heal all wounds.
Personally if my best friend died from cancer(not that i have any idea how traumatic that must have been) I certainly wouldn’t be talking about it to thousands of strangers and posting a celf centred ‘selfie’ as my thumbnail, this video has no real respect, attention seeking
Wow this comment is disgusting on so many levels. You know what I find most alarming? that you feel like you have the authority to tell ME how to grieve. I explained in this video that the MAIN reason I brought this up was to explain my absence from my JOB, which is youtube. As this is my CAREER, I do feel that I have a right to explain when something impacts my life, as my job is to SHARE my life. I didnt post a picture of my friend in the thumbnail because showing a picture of him in a hospital bed or something would be fucking disgusting and inappropriate.
