This schedule is very top heavy; 5 out of the first 7 opponents were playoff teams last year. If you walk out of that 7 game stretch at least 4-3 you're in a good position to make a push in the 2nd half of the season. Also 12 noon games is interesting, but possibly beneficial. The earlier you knock down one opponent, you can recover and move on to the next

Already got my tickets for the Giants game! Tough first half with the QB position in it's current state; we just don't know what to expect. If the Vikes finish over 500 and improve throughout the season its a win in my mind. A playoff birth would be awesome, but I'm trying to have realistic expectations.

Have some faith! Look at the Texans……they were trash then they drafted Stroud and a good DE and they kicked some teeth in last year. Dallas Turner is going to be a stud and I’m hearing JJ McCarthy has really been impressive so far. With the offensive weapons we have and Flores as our DC we can make some noise in the NFC 😈😈😈😈😈
Going into the bye I got the vikes at 2-3 but that's because I don't know what to expect with darnold considering he's never had a good offense around him. With that said I hope we are better than that going into the bye

Week 6 bye might give TJ an extra week to get right without missing a game, and a week to review progress with the new QBs.
I Love the way this team is headed, but the fans need to be realistic, and after looking at the schedule, this team will not be a SB contender this season, but give them 2 seasons to mature and gel, that will be the year for them. KOC and his staff have a lot of changes in this team, and I will be happy to see them with 10 wins, and no speculations😊

I hate when the bye week comes after only 4 or 5 weeks. They should give all teams a bye at the same time after 8 or 9 games.
With how long the schedule is, there should be 2 bye weeks.
