After years of searching, I have finally found that the song Mister Lies samples for this track is indeed "I Wanna Be Down" by Brandy. The "make a move" and "it's only you" parts are clearly taken from that track. I can die peacefully now.

One of my spiritual tracks- the only manifestation I could remember in the mental ward. This track played through my ears from memory effortlessly, note by note, like a reel-to-reel. i got into making music right around this time (2012) because of mister lies and other artists with similar music and i remember i sent him one of my early tracks on soundcloud once and just told him he inspired me to get into this type of music and he actually responded later on with a long message and definitely listened to it, he was super encouraging and all around awesome. i dont get time to make music like i used to, but this song will forever be one of my favorites
