Rykard just pulling up his snake like a heavy skirt to kick lava with the full length of his leggies is both hysterically funny and kind of terrifying.
Might even be canon, he just can no longer use his legs because they can't support his weight
@@KuraSourTakanHour he can kinda do it since he does lift up the snake to jump, he just can’t straighten out his legs properly

I was that guy vs. Malenia the first time I summoned. Thought I was being helpful but absolutely wasn’t. Next time, I just hung back and didn’t die so my helper could actually help.
I just walk up to the dead host and do a gesture like finger snap. Not point down, don't want to make them feel even worse.

I got to him, Grabbed the spear, Teleported back to the Round table, Leveled it to +9, Summoned my Mimic tear and sat back with popcorn.
Walking past the Serpent-Hunter when first entering the boss fight is a mood.
I refuse to believe anyone is dumb enough to walk past that weapon and not use it when it literally tells you to use it on this boss
@@kenshinhimura9387 Here's the thing: It doesn't tell you. It's just there for you to pick up. I don't know if there is a message written by it, but chances are you don't even read it.

What I loved about this fight is you can grab the serpent hunter, run to the roundtable, and upgrade it as high as you can. I was using Millicent's prosthesis and winged sword talisman and when you spam the r1 attack....DAMN but you've never seen a boss's health go down so fast
Yes, Rykard is really easy especially when you summon your mimic while equipped the spear
Just ... think of it as an homage to Siegward from Dark Souls 3.

I played low HP Astrologer with no previous experience in such games. Let's just say I got my ass pounded there more times than I can count. Most hits were instant death.
I almost killed him without the recommended weapon. Then came Phase 2. Yes. Use this weapon
I stuck to my lots and lots of magic approach. Ain't got time to learn new weapons!
using the in-game voice lines for rykard was the right move because I don't think anything can be done to make them funnier than they already are

I changed my whole build for this fight. Then I found the weapon, and it disappeared in my inventory. I don't carry loose weapons. It was just gone. Beat the fight fast traveled, and there the magic weapon appeared.

That use this weapon and disregarding is true...I never once thought of using that thing until after I defeated him and was like oh my bad when someone told me 😂

That co oper is so relatable. Can't wait for Godfrey first elden lord where it happens again (like seriously at this point the boss is easier solo with how poorly hosts can dodge. If it's a mage I know he's not making it)
Invader Anecdote: one time I was approaching a 2 man group on a chain in mountaintops. The summon was in vets so he likely wasn't terrible at pvp. The host spit rot breath when I approached forcing me to retreat. Next time I approached I answered his breath with a boulder throw incant. That thing one shot him(under 700 health). The summon when seeing this happened jumped off the edge of the chain in a perfect arc.

Him growing leg and chasing after you with that speed would be the most terrifying thing in game.
