Dude this whole week I've been reminiscing about 4U and older gen MH games. The music, gameplay style, "old mix set" style armor, everything was just perfect. Earned a sub and a small tear rolling down my face when I heard that quest complete theme again 😭

4U-style CB is still the best CB to this day. Honestly, this video is inspiring me to do a full run of all MR monsters with Charge Blade in Iceborne (and maybe even Sunbreak), but played with MH4U's CB style. No Savage Axe. Certainly no SAED spam. I really hope Wilds' CB doesn't fall victim to SAED spam.

Yea but i think thats just how most monster hunter weapons turn out to be: spam the strongest move as much as you can to get the most damage. I'm happy that you found motivation!

it's still very turn-based even in new gen games but on a faster pace, but it depends on the monster sometimes
