825HP @ crank w/ Stage 2 Whipple 3.0L. I think it hit Whipple's speed limiter, even though I tried to trick it with gears/tire diameter changes
@@brucesawicki1436 that sucks man that car had so much more left in it you can see at how hard it was pulling after 180 then suddenly stopped...i was convinced you ran out of gear. a 2014 cobra did higher than that in the heat with way less power!

@@3rdGenGuy he's running Whipple's tune in the ecu. It's limited top speed in the tune, nothing to do with the blower.

You take it up steps at a time. You don't run 200 until you run 190. Common sense.
Is that a factory limiter or did it run out of gear?
Edit: just read other comment threads, this seems to be a limitation set by the whipple tune.. it might be keeping it from going boom. 😬
"A joke"? Do you think its build is strictly to go 200mph, or do you think it's possible that it's intended to go around a track fast? I just don't understand so many people's preoccupation with numbers - just for the sake of numbers. It's real world use. That's all that matters; nothing more.
I have a 2019. The factory governor is 156 mph. He looked like he ran out of gearing, not restricted by an electronic limiter
Imagine spending all that money on the additional horsepower to only be speed limited.
Did the driver go into 6th gear? I was able to count just 4 gear shifts
Most launch in 2nd gear but yeah still. 6th might be too much of a “highway” gear

Speed limited. You can hear the engine pull strongly to 7000 RPM and then just stop there at 191 MPH. With that insanely long 6th gear (driver kept it in 5th for this run) I suspect 205 is about as fast as this will ever go.

Another pathetic Mustang, Luv how they looked up until 2024, but they're always a disappointment !!! Breaks my heart a little every time as a Ford fan, and mostly a Ford family growing up. Just Sad.
