In this month's Employee Spotlight, we're proud to shine a well-deserved light on Officer Brown, a dedicated public servant with 17 years of unwavering commitment to the Riviera Beach Police Department. As one of the city's three motor cops, you'll often find him patrolling our streets on a motorbike, ensuring traffic safety. But his journey to law enforcement started at just 17 when he served his country in the military for 8 years and 7 months. Officer Brown's passion for making a difference brought him to RBPD, where he passionately patrols school zones every morning, prioritizing the safety of our community's children. His love for the kids is truly inspiring. However, his service extends far beyond traffic duty, as he proudly serves on the SWAT Team, exemplifying his unwavering dedication. Officer Brown also plays essential roles within the department, chairing the Pension Board, overseeing retirement funds, and representing our union, ensuring fair representation for all officers. Officer Brown's commitment to the community goes above and beyond, embodying the spirit of service and protection that defines law enforcement. I was stopped by Officer Brown, and I must say, he was efficient and professional when issuing the ticket. If you ever get pulled over, I'd recommend being stopped by him.
