I feel like the game reads what you have when it gives you ammo, playing with rifle and pistol rn, and only getting those from crates. As soon as I take out my shotgun or tmp I get their respective ammo.
@MittyNispa It does. Weapons you carry have an increased drop rate, and doing well scales damage down. Weapons in storage count AFAIK, so you generally want to sell everything you are not using to keep supply up. Pistol rifle shotgun will generally keep you rolling in ammo and a few handfuls of grenades. Difficulty assist has always been a thing for both resident evil 4s.
The game doesn't give you ammo drops for weapons you currently do not posses in your case. Since he had no weapon, Pesetas, healing and grenade drop rates increased significantly. I've learned this myself when I did the starter pistol only challenge, handgun ammo skyrocketed as well as the other drops in comparison to my regular playthrough drops where i have several guns in my case. Now you still get ammo from pre-placed drops, so this only applies to randomized drops, ofc the Attache case adds priority chance depending on which you use.
7:59 Because flash bangs are named because they both go FLASH and *BANG* , they're meant to both blind and deafen, against something with advanced hearing they are even more effective at deafening them.

The crate drops depend on your inventory and wouldnt give ammo for the guns you dont have, if you dont have any guns you are left with money, herbs, gunpowder and grenades, also i am not 100% sure but crates have different tiers and ones in boss fight are more likely to give combat items like ammo or nades, and some dont give low tier ammo which is pistol ammo
Yea you’re spot on. Drops are definitely linked to your current inventory and the boss crates are definitely full with multiple drops. There’s clearly an RNG element as in the cabin and Mendez fight I picked up like 5 grenades from those crates 🤔

Neither did I 😂 it was getting out of control. I didn’t get a chance to show you in the video but there’s mods that turn the first aid sprays into Poké Potions as well and one that turns all your Merchant charms into Pokémon

Just finished a crossbow only run yesterday on professional. Was absolute hell in certain parts but did it. Hardest thing was it seems like after chapter 4-5 I saw a total of 2 s resources from boxes/vases throughout the run. The ones the merchant sells was a saving grace. Even tried keeping a skull shaker and handgun on me with little ammo to force knife and blue resource drops.

Just finished a crossbow only run yesterday on professional. Was absolute hell in certain parts but did it. Hardest thing was it seems like after chapter 4-5 I saw a total of 2 s resources from boxes/vases throughout the run. The ones the merchant sells was a saving grace. Even tried keeping a skull shaker and handgun on me with little ammo to force knife and blue resource drops.
