Should have explained at the beginning of the video how to order the screws, not at the end of it. Also, the rebuild is not in the same order as the dismantling. Still useful bit there are better ones available
sir i made the mistake to not unplug the battery and now the screen glows but its all dark with no apple sign. it vibrates and makes noise. i have a feeling i fried the motherboard. can it be repaired.
If the motherboard is fried, it will not make noise or vibrates. I would say try disconnect the battery and reconnect again to see it the screen ok. If not, try putting the cracked screen to see if any display on it.

Hi, I did this but the screen is not turning on, even though i hear the phone turning on and it vibrates when i switch it to vibrate on the side. any ideas on why this could be happening?
Hi, I would think the connector is not press in firmly or the new screen is defective. Try to take it apart, check the connector pins and reseated them back firmly. Good luck !
How to remove pressure spot appears after when put the screen on motherboard and fix it . And when put away the screen from mother board the pressure spot go away
So there’s no need of lcd cloning for this iPhone 8+ nor if I even updated to the lastes iOS ? I heard newer iPhones needed a cloning machine for a simple lcd 😊
Thanks very much for the tutorial. But you forgot to disconnect the battery flex from board which is a risk that will lead to frying the board when connecting screen. It has happened to me one point a time when changing LCD.
Hi there, i changed the screen but its not turning on. When i plug the charger it sounds that means phone is working but the screen is not turning on. Can you please let me know how can i fix it?
I have a few concerns. I was repairing a friend’s phone and everything went well... until I turned it on. The display wouldn’t turn on but the phone was vibrating.
Try this. Remove the new screen flex cable. And Disconnect the battery flex cable. Wait for 5 seconds. And reconnect all flex cables back on. Hope this will bring the screen display back on.
did you unplug the battery when you were doing the repair you may have short the board. Also when you are attaching connectors to the board need to line up perfectly kind of wiggle until you feel it line up. Doing it in light check twice when you know it’s lined up press gently down you feel and hear a click then you know it’s all pins are in place I’ve done so many repairs in a rush. If your not careful you bend the Pins and then you will have to Sauter a new connector on
