This is great. I've been picking up leaves from the forest which weren't perfect of course. So excited to try this.

When you can gather on nature walks it is the best fun Janet . We are snowy with nothing growing right now and I can't wait to get outside and gather again in a couple months. Have lots of fun with it !

Hi Shari! I am new to your work and trying my hand at working in wax. Love it so far. I live in Phoenix, Arizona. Summer is coming. Is there any way to make my work more able to withstand heat or am I just outa luck?

Hi K ! In normal indoor conditions encaustic art really just follows along the rules for any fine art works. No art should be hung where it is exposed to direct sunlight, or left in a hot car ( this is especially true for encaustic ) , put near a heat source ( which in your case is probably anywhere outside :))) Other than that it should be fine. Have lots of fun with your new encaustic adventure !
