What's the point of open world when Hot Pursuit is set on straight roads and not having enough freedom to roam around Seacrest County even tho the races are set on closed tracks?
Bro didn't you notice his car acceleration speed it insane dramatically automatically fastee than the normal one in pc version it took time to reach 300 to 400km mark
Heres a tip mate, i used ccxr too and its actually quite slow, turns out the regular ccx has the best acceleration, drifting speed, and can regain the speed better than any other car, also can push its top speed to 258mph
another tip foy you guys. for some reason in this game, especially on the hyper class, the weeker the car is, the greater its acc when using nos. example: the ccxr or bugatti rank as best hyper cars in the game. but they're nos is the weekest by far, while cars like the ccx and the meclaren f1 have best nos. and since nos is used mainly to regain speed after turns, pro players, can push those week cars to the max performance every time. while driving a bugatti or ccxr its actually quite hard to push those xars to peek performance. try it out. you will see the difference

It took me a long time to break the 12 min mark and now my best is 11:46.37 and Im trying to get 11:45 or lower, Its just so hard not to screw up on the event
There is no way we can reach such speeds after corner exits on PC. Notice the first hairpin turn at 1:00, the car slows down to 288 by 1:05, but crosses 370 by 1:07 (within 2 seconds) without even using nitro!! I can't achieve that with full nitro on a straight road no matter what car I take downhill/uphill. Granted it's insane control and an awesome race, but some people have already pointed out cars in consoles are faster than in PC, I think that must be the reason.
Palinden plays on pc, and sometimes emuletes ps3 for the dlc cars/events, this is totally possible , you just need to learn and exploit the physics of the game, Palinden is a master.

I actually need to get this on my newer console, I remember free roam. Funnest time driving around free, no worries in my audi R8 Turbo. The dirty roads were the best. And the levels, Open roads with no cars blocking the run, Plus a free try of supercars (Police) at one of the first levels. Ah need for speed hot pursuit. Classic nostalgic game. It's been something like years. I need to get back in touch with it.
It must have game ever, no#1 world class, ever, the Need for Speed, hot pursuit, one of my best favorite series, nothing can beat Need for speed, like no other racing game can, compare the exellent high definition state of ART, racing games, highly recomended;-)
Many times the car slides but doesn't even lose 10 km/h of its speed and at 3:24 (just one of many examples) the accelaration is impossible with that car at such a high speed. Amazing skills, yes, but definitely a cheat.

Im still trying to wrap my head around the fact that if you were going 400 mph consistently, you could cut through the entirety of conneticuit in less than 30 minutes.
Like the other guy said, it's 400 km/h (or kph, some people call it). This time equates to 70 km in 10 min 52.69 sec, which is an average of 386.09 km/h or 239.44 mph. If 400 is maintained for the entire 10 minute 52 seconds, he could go 2.5 km more, or finish the 70 km in 10 min 30 sec exactly.
Oh, and if you were crossing Connecticut east-west at 400 km/h (about 180 km as per Google) you need to maintain that speed for 1620 seconds or exactly 27 minutes :)
Depends on the system you are playing on. 12:35 isn't a bad time at all with a couple of crashes. I have 12:03 with no crashes and the AI are on my tail until around 3-4 mins. I play on Xbox One.
I'm.playing the recently released remastered version. At the tunnel section at 2:16 in your vid, I'm on around 2:25 at that point and the A.I. is right behind me. No where near as good as you btw, just wondered if they added more rubber banding AI?

@@Matteolut drift physics in this game are wild, you can basically maintain your top speed on most sections except the ones that are super sharp. With practise you can get it down. I recommend the SL65 AMG in Super Series since it's an broken drifting vehicle.

The entire point is point a to point b, no 3rd party tools, but can exploit anything in the game as far as glitches are concerned. It's completely a legit run. There's other tracks with glitch shortcuts too that aren't public so... It is what it is

The CCX is one of the fastest Hypercars in the game. Also, the CCX has a decent top speed, great handling/drift recovery, and good nitrous boost, making it very well suited for events like this.
Yes, ccxr as much as I love it, it is very understeery. F1 and ccx (difficult to learn) are way better. Ranking for hyper series goes 1.Mclaren f1 (most events its fastest) 2. Koenigsegg ccx (has potential but lower nitro than f1 makes it slightly worst) 3. Gumpert Apollo S (lower topspeed makes it slower than top two) 4. Bugatti Veyron Supersport (best acceleration and best at long straights and can keep speed in high-speed corners also holding few records, crap at tight corners however). 5. Bugatti Veyron (just a slightly weaker supersport) 6. Koenigsegg CCXR (too much understeer and slow hi-speed acceleration). 7. Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport (definition of attempting to drive a boat on the road) 8. Koenigsegg Agera (stay away from this car, its bad at everything but normal handling).

Yeah the thing with driving cars in this game is you need to know how each one responds to Turning, Braking and Acceleration. The ccx is great for carryingaA top speed at the exits o corners. The three go to cars for hyper class are Mclaren f1, Koenigsegg ccx and the gumpert apollo.
The Wii Version was better..... thats the reason why he has this insane record, the remastered Version includes the rubberband effect so u cant get far away from the bots....+ driving on sand didnt lose u 100kmh. I just got to 12:40 With the agera r......good job xD
The Veyron is not the best at cornering tho. Usually many players use the McLaren F1 just because it's the fastest car in the game and can drift smooth corners easily. And it also refills nitrous faster when you're driving on oncoming lanes and dodging traffic.

Only stupid people use the shortcut, it doesn't count as a record, it's a bug. Your time it's 100% not legit if you use a bug to get it

4. Bugatti Veyron Supersport (best acceleration and best at long straights and can keep speed in high-speed corners also holding few records, crap at tight corners however).
5. Bugatti Veyron (just a slightly weaker supersport)
6. Koenigsegg CCXR (too much understeer and slow hi-speed acceleration).
7. Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport (definition of attempting to drive a boat on the road)
8. Koenigsegg Agera (stay away from this car, its bad at everything but normal handling).

Can any1 help am new to nfs, so how can he drift like around 320 or more ! When i do it i use reverse throttle to drfit, is that the reason i get around 250 ?

Yeah 15 fps is not a good framerate to be playing this game. I recomend getting it on console.

@@indrajitchatterjee2898 Thats alright, plus, you can always turn down the graphics for a smoother framerate. Yeah the thing with driving cars in this game is you need to know how each one responds to Turning, Braking and Acceleration. The ccx is great for carryingaA top speed at the exits o corners. The three go to cars for hyper class are Mclaren f1, Koenigsegg ccx and the gumpert apollo.

There is a special shortcut at 7:43 that can make 9 mins possible, pretty much a glitch path in that race

The Wii Version was better..... thats the reason why he has this insane record, the remastered Version includes the rubberband effect so u cant get far away from the bots....+ driving on sand didnt lose u 100kmh. I just got to 12:40 With the agera r......good job xD

bugatti has slow acceleration and isn't really good in curves

Bugatti is terrible in this game
It's not the best car for carrying speed through corners.
The Veyron is not the best at cornering tho. Usually many players use the McLaren F1 just because it's the fastest car in the game and can drift smooth corners easily. And it also refills nitrous faster when you're driving on oncoming lanes and dodging traffic.
