The placement of these columns and crappy mosaics are really weird, even for socialist design.

The placement is weird, but the blue color creates a more friendly atmosphere compared to some other dark stations in Bucharest. Sometimes the columns seem to be completely covered by ad campaigns, luckily that wasn't the case during my visit. 😏

that because between 1979 and 1989 this was a tram sation, you can still see the concrete under the rails
