- It was a 2 days tour toGhatshila situated in Jharkhand from Kolkata, we went there by Ispat Express on 15th August 2019. It is a very popular weekend tour for travelers. Even if you just want to visit here in the day and return home before night it is also possible. But I advise you to make your tour plan for 3 days and 2 nights to complete this most popular Nature-Lover of Ghatshila. Here you can get a mountain, river, temple, lake, fountain, jungle, etc. Just leisurely spend a few hours by the bank of river Subarnarekha is amazing. The main attraction of Ghatshila tourist spot is Burudi Lake, Jadugora Pahar, Rumkinidevi Temple, Dharagiri falls etc. You can also visit Tatanagar by one hour of journey by train. Winter is the best time to come here though tourists all over India come here all the season of the year. To reach here by train you get down at Ghatshila station and then by hiring a cab/auto or cycle rickshaw to take a hotel or a lodge. We stayed at Santoshi Lodge just the bank of river Subarnarekha.
