Gaming is still disproportionally consumed by men in their 10s and 20s, maybe 30s and Korean females don't care/don't know much, just like anywhere else; average Korean girls just don't know much about the gaming scene. The school-age girls may know Faker as the most famous gamer of their generation (for those in their late 20s and 30s, SlayerS_`BoxeR), but that's about it; they don't care/unaware about his accomplishments. Females that follow the gaming scene are probably less than 10% of the entire Korean gamer population. What I'm saying is, yes, BTS may see Faker as their own "idol" because they are like any other young boys when it comes to gaming, but girls don't care.
Things changed a long time ago. Korean girls and women are big fans of online games. Many women game streamers play games at a high level, with many fans watching their play, and you can easily see the school girls playing games in PC bang in Korea.

I’ve never not known it as real competition, only I just gradually expanded at being the best in the house, to local, the state, etc. It’s funny how you’re attempting to call people losers from something you’re probably not even part of, you sound like a poser. Are you a pro StarCraft player? 🤨 It sounds to me like you don’t actually have any affiliation with a competitive scene by the way you’re talking about it.
Anyone can go pro you don’t need sponsors or anything to do it. Lmao People that never did stuff always try to tell me about what they haven’t experienced. One guy attempted to tell me how it feels and what you think about on stage, nerves, etc. I know how much I sacrificed and I know it wouldn’t be any different only that I’d have to rely on teammates who can make you lose at any time.
In fact, today in a MOBA my team was getting wiped and I was single-handedly carrying. I told them that I have a 100% war and that if they just chilled I’d be able to carry them. One player then decided to just stop playing. That’s why I wouldn’t dedicate my time to actually committing to League or StarCraft regardless of knowing I could. If you think tournaments are playing to have fun then you clearly have the wrong idea. We play because it’s fun so much that we just surpass everyone. Tournaments are fun, because it’s the easiest way to filter competition. It’s fun, because you get to rendezvous with your friends that share the same love for the game as you. When you’re there it’s just time to win. I remember I had to eliminate my best friend, and I didn’t feel nothing about it.
>Korean competitivesness
Because human beings are not competitive lol
Manwas means🤔
Comics
조사 열심히하셨네.. 인정 ㅋㅋ
5:58 wow that sounds... awful
Umm, what if you’re a Korean and blow at video games?
Anyone who says korean is good at games must be never play any game 😂
Tbh theyre only good at popular games in korea. In esports like csgo, dota, and valorant korean teams are average at best
lck!!! dudungdunga!!!
Not much Koreans in Dota though Sadge
Hwarang. lol
Arslan ash, the exception in tekken history defeated all skoreans and usa players. The desis from indian subcontinent are really underrated and would have been easily at the top in esports, if they have gotten the same high speed internet , cheap pc consoles, and basically the gaming culture. Arsalan ash came 1st and he is not even the best in his hometown where tekken's arcade machines are played.
no 10 st knee vs Arslan sah is knee win you should go to youtube
Lol, whatever you say. Your inferiority complex is so funny.
Because they don't go homeless and all their women look the same so it's easy to ignore they girlfriend
Ragnarok online!~!!!!
😧
Koreans only good at 3 blizzard games and 2 riot games
damn
코리아
True true but lets not forget the true game developers and thats is Japan 🇯🇵
I found a lot of korean name on D2, they are nothing special, some of them even terrible
Destiny 2
Granted casual Korean gamers exist. Not like the whole country put video games as priority number 1. Still in competitive plays Korean pros are on top in most games.
아 국뽕
Idk but it’s cringe tbh. Video games are supposed to be fun. Esports suck the fun out of it.
But Koreans are noob in Dota 2😂the most complex game of all time
Because unlike in the west GAMERS aren’t an oppressed minority
대체 뭐라는거야
