great Review. I've picked this up with the Update kit so I'll get this to the table soon. Did you play this solo? If you did, how did you handle the hidden info?
no particular adjustments, just both sides at the best of my possibilities, and still found it 100% enjoyable. If you ever played a card-driven wargame solo, you've the necessary training :) If you want more blindness (and a tough challenge) use no hand of cards: draw 2 and choose one for the columns where you'd use your hand normally, and draw a single card normally for columns 3 and 4.
Ciao Marco ! How would you compare this game to GMT's "Thirty Years War: Europe in Agony" that came out in 2001 ? I personally think that this game didn't get the credit it deserved (especially as one of the first card driven game released)
Another great review! Your enthusiasm has me pumped to play this game which recently arrived in the mail.
'the editor got drunk or something...drinking like a soldier of the time'...ROFL :) I love ya, Marco!
Great review.
It's been two years in the waiting but I feel It was worthy. Hope the series goes on.
Very nice video, Marco. Thanks.
Played, and enjoyed this. I thought it was fairly simple, but with certain mechanics that were not only 'out of the box' but enjoyable.

Kingdom of heaven has a nice siege design as well.
Seems amazing!
You were at your comedic best here.
Have you read the 30yw by CV Wedgwood? Couldn't put it down
