These records from the 30's and 40's are pure gold. Note that this was recorded during some the year of the most terrible battles between Soviet Union armies and the German Wermacht. Bruno Monsaigoen's treasured documentary of Oistrakh was missing these, which give a better picture of Oistrakh's genius and brilliance from that period. Thank you for posting!
Bruno Monsaingeon has been instrumental in gathering old archives of David Oistrakh in a treasureable Warner collector album in July November 24 where we can find releases of past recordings never published before in the West
