Regarding comment by Mike's Tech Corner. This is false positive detection by Windows Defender. The issue was reported as the incorrect detection to Microsoft Security and Windows Defender rules were updated to resolve the reported issue. This is the second time Windows Defenders reported incorrect detection against the mbox-viewer.
The demonstrated version of the mbox viewer is no longer available for download from the bitrecover site. Suggest to download the mbox viewer from the sourceforge.net/projects/mbox-viewer/ site which offers mostly identical features and user interface.
