Hi! My name is Tim The Lawnmower Man and I love to clean up overgrown yards and make fun videos doing it. I'm able to do them for free as these videos have ads on them and the revenue from that enables me to cover my cost.
I'm always looking for the worst yards around. Sometimes I drive around looking for them, sometimes viewers send me suggestions.

You didn't cut that yard. You manicured it. Excellent job Tim.
Try vinegar as a natural weed solution. Just don't get it on any plants or grass that you want to keep. For a natural bug deterrent try Diatomaceous Earth. Great video Tim! 😊
Agree. I use white vinegar which is pretty cheap in a sauce bottle and drizzle in the middle of the weed and as it starts to wither, I hit it a couple more times until it’s dead. The sauce bottle allows pretty accurate targeting of the weeds
The recipe I use is white vinegar, salt and liquid dish soap….you can google the amount to use 😁 the hotter the day the faster it works
I was going to suggest this too. I found it works better if the weeds are in direct sunlight.
1 cup of salt, 2tbsp of liquid dawn dish soap to 1 gal of vinegar!@@boniemann
Yes, white vinegar, salt, dish soap. Works great.
Great job as usual Tim. I know the lady really appreciates what you did for her. I am not skipping ads shorter than 35 seconds to help your revenue as you deserve it in every way. Keep on keeping on 😊
Australian of the year in my book!
Oh god no. I just run a cool business
Getting down and pulling up clover 🍀 has always been my "zen" time. Now I can no longer get down (well truthfully, get back up), and bending over is worse. I really miss pulling that clover from the lawn.
Tim , your work is so precious that you even make manhole covers look like lawn ornaments.😊
Bit of a contrast to George on Quick Cuts. Watched today's release, and he mowed a dustbowl. You have the opposite problem, Tim. Definitely booking my car for next week, too. Great job again, mate, and I do think it's wonderful to hear folk wanting to pay you despite it being FMF. It shows how much they appreciate the work and a degree of humility at being unable to it it themselves.
George did an amazing job. Stacking the wood and the bricks, when others would have mowed around them. He and Tim are in different locations in Australia. They both do excellent work. Far far better than that American who mows and goes!
@@KarenDoty-rh1im too right Karen. Every time I see logs or bricks I just know George can't resist stacking them!
Take this for what it’s worth ( I am a Canadian , sitting in a foot of snow, having not seen grass since October) but … wouldn’t it have been easier to cut back those weeds at the start, along the front fence, with just the weed wacker/ trimmer and not the lawn mower? It seemed like a lot of work to maneuver that mower around that small space. I understand that you could bag it with the mower but in the end you still had to shovel up alot trimmings…just your average armchair critic here🤷♀️. Great job by the way!
there were stickers that he was avoiding using the weedeater on because they get all over your clothes.
I follow quite a few lawn guys and you definitely have the most perfect edge of them all!! You are a master at edging!!
Certified Lawn Detailer. 😂 Gold, mate.
Holy moley!! With an electric mower!! Impressed for sure! I've got that mower and definitely would have gone over that back yard with the string trimmer first, but that thing did really well.
Another fantastic transformation and the electric mower git through it 😊
You are like a lawn surgeon with that whipper snipper. Bloody brilliant 🤩
Next to watching Tim exercise his skills, I enjoy to see the differences between our Dutch and your Australian homes, gardens and flora. But also glad to not feel that heat😅
Come to northern Australia... recently lost power for 2 days because of a cyclone (hurricane) and temperatures are at heatwave levels atm..35oC but felt like 47oC..🔥🔥🇦🇺😳
The reaction from the lovely lady that is what you do it for ❤ keep it going Tim
You have completed a brilliant job there Tim, I've never see a garden with so many grids and drain covers.
Keep smiling
😊
Must have a drainage issue. 😢
What she said, what she said and what she said. Videos are great, transformations are great. This one was very good again Tim. That battery mower seemed to smash that easily too. Great job as usual
Tim you did an amazing job on Sue's yard.
Much respect Tim. I was impressed how well the battery mower went. Thanks 👍
What a lovely home and yard. She had simple yet attractive landscaping, and you brought it to life! Very nice you could help her. ❤😊
Good onya Tim....keep up the great work that you do! Your a legend mate 😁😁💯💯
Timmmmm, you and Sean are my favorites. When I grow up I want to be like you two.
Hello Mr Tim. This homemade weed killer recipe works well for me. Best if reapplied frequently, especially after rain, since it is water soluble.
Thoroughly mix:
1 gallon vinegar
1 cup table salt
1 tablespoon liquid dish soap
Pour in spray bottle and spray on weeds.
Use the extra strength vinegar, works.
You're a superhero with no need for a cape, Tim. Bringing respectability to neighbourhoods, one yard at a time. I would love to see you team up with a "Pressure Wash" You Tuber to transform the home of an elderly or disabled person. They'd appreciate that, and we'd definitely appreciate seeing that video.
Tim and Sue it looks great! Such a pretty place! God's blessings to you both, and yours. Sending Best Wishes from Texas.
I loved this video! So neat and tidy 😎 Gorgeous crisp edges 💜💜💜
Great transformation! I too was thinking this yard has a lot of drains. I want to applaud you also for leaving the grass 'green'!! I know, you always tell us the ones you leave brown will green up in a few days, but it's really nice to have green grass to look at the end (as a homeowner) then having to wait for it to grow back. Us folks here in the US see brown grass, as dead grass. 😁 So thanks for the nice surprise. ❤ I think you'd do better with one of your other mowers for tall grass, this one seemed to not like the tall grass clumps underneath. What a pain to have to lift and restart it, but you handled well. 👍 One more thing, I have to say you are spot on with the edge trimmer, you are the straightest guy I know! 😉
It is a lovley garden. You did it proud.
“……that was satisfying for me….”LOL, me too! Love watching your videos Tim.
Man that garden looks so much better now , well done the lady should be very pleased with the result. 😅
Now that's what I mean. I'll just disregard the VLOGs. Great FMF. You always go beyond my expectations. First Class.
Even made the easement drain look good! Now that's detailing!
Tim, follower from the US. Love your channel. Your attention to detail puts you far above other channels in this genre. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I think this is my first time on your channel. You do awesome work on the lawns. I’ll have to check in a few times before I get your style. 😊🤗 Definitely an A+. Clean and crisp.
Lawn looks amazing !!! Great job Tim, you could see how appreciative she was !!!
Beautiful job - all the extra passes you make with the mower and weedeater make such a huge difference! Yay to Sue for the “local” shirt for us So Xal viewers! 😂 It’s a lovely home and street. ❤
UK viewer here! Love these videos, they are so satisfying. My husband is the grass cutter in our house so I've never once used a mower but I want a go myself just for the sheer satisfaction, im sure its not as easy as you make it look though! 🏡🌷
No- it is easy- it’s to have the ambition to do it - people like to be entertained
Give 'er a go. I loved mowing. My hubby won't let me mow anymore. (My bad ticker?)
It looks beautiful, well done❤
Tim. I use hot cooking oil on my weeds on the lawn after ive cooked my dinner. i walk out with a pan and dump the oil while its still hot. saves dumping it down drain or throwing it in the rubbish bag doesn't matter what type oil vegetable, olive etc. Works great weeds are dead in a week and its environmentally friendly
I do not believe oil is environmentally friendly.
Oh, her yard looks great. So much more sharp and smart. You did great!
We always use white vinegar (dilute acetic acid) on weeds, it's great if you know there won't be any rain for a few days. (and it's Bee friendly!!)
Wow, you truly leave me with my head spinning! That was a stellar job and that lawn, ohhhh my goodness, how beautiful it is! Amazing work!
I’m obsessed with the edges 😂. You do such a great job.
Your work is always great. Those edges are so sharp and crisp. No one else does it like you
1 gallon vinegar (5% acidity), 1 cup salt, 1 tbsp dish soap. Or 4 liters vinegar, 240 grams salt, 15ml dish soap. it has worked for me.
You're a goodun Tim. Keep up the great work. We need more people like u .
God bless you Tim, great job ❤
Fabulous, they'll have a deep sigh of relief 🙂❤
😊😊😊 I love watching you transform the property you cut, you do a great job.😊😊😊😊
1 cup Epsom salt ,1 tablespoon liquid dish soap , 1 gallon warm water and mix well. Does a great job and doesn't pollute the soil
Hi Tim, We use coarse salt, on the weeds. It dries it out, then one just pull it out. Greetings from South Africa
Safe Herbicides
In an empty spray bottle or pump sprayer, combine ½ cup of liquid dish soap, 1 gallon of white vinegar, ¼ cup of salt, then mix and shake until blended. Spray on weeds as needed.
Time jsi umělec zahradních prostorů 😅. A chodící reklama 😊. Děkuji a těším se na další video s tebou! 👍👏✳️✴️❇️
I, too, have had great results with white vinegar ! Driveways, sidewalks etc. be careful where u apply it.
After getting the kettle going you should have at least made yourself a cup of tea. As always another fantastic job, the level of detail that you provide in all of your cleanups is incredible, keep up the good work.
Thanks Tim really enjoyed the transformation of the property. ❤️
I have been looking forward to this video since I saw the vlog. Excellent job Tim! Such a nice lady.
Love how you powered thru that long grass at the beginning. It looked like you took it personally and just wanted to demolish it 😂
There's a natural weed killer in vinegar. Use it with a few drops of detergent to help it stick to the roots. Try to do it when there's no rain around for a few days.
Excellent job. You have edging & weed whacking down to a science.😅😊😊😊😊🎉
Looks wonderful Tim!! Nice to see the pretty green grass...mine is all brown now in the US...patiently waiting for spring!! 😊
we still got 2 feet of snow in the front yard (-:,......I never see basement windows on these house, not a thing over there ? no tornadoes ?
Doing good things out in your community 👍✌️👏🍻
Awesome job there Tim, loving ya work.
Laura NZ
Hi Tim another great job 👏.
Vinegar and salt is environmentally safe. Add dish soap so it clings to the leaves. I've used 10% vinegar at 1 litre with 80g salt. It worked well, but weeds came back. I am going to try 20% next with added dish soap.
for weeds I use industrial strength vinegar, a bit of liquid dish soap and salt and put it in a pump up sprayer.. I am a cancer survivor so I try to avoid toxic chemicals as much as I can.
Thanks mate
I'm glad you mentioned the unusual number of access points for the sewer, etc. I wondered if having them in your back yards was common in Australia.
Bless your ❤. Awesome cleanup/tidying AND no clippings left behind. Good on you, mate.🎉😊
Tim Thank you for posting.
Nice work you did great with the edging so much fun to watch.😊
You always do a beautiful job. NY natural weed removal technique is really old fashioned. It involves grasping said weed at the base and pulling out with root intact. It works for me. The size of yards you do it's not practical but the homeowners can and should participate. If done weekly it gets easier until it is almost unnecessary 😊. 😊😊
Another great one Tim. Love from Portugal!
9:02 That was satisfying for all of us!! 😂
Yet another mint Freemowfriday. That little elec mower that could haha. Like to see you scalp a lawn from a free mow friday like to dirt (6mmish) as one would for a reno, and then follow up to show all the people lawn can take a really low mow. Granted there would be a ton more work and grass to remove.
You really put it to the test..that Greenworks mower didn't let you down. boiling water as a weed killer? that is new to me, i heard of vinegar, salt and water mix, but personally, I prefer to use herbicides
Once again, an awesome job! It amazes me how much you pay attention to detail.
2 massive storm water pits in that back yard. There must be a hell of a lot of water goes through there 😳
That was weird with all the drains and sewer. It's almost like this was supposed to be a street and they decided to throw a house on it. Nice job as always.
Great job Tim!
George and Tim are both in my top 3 lawncare workers, both give high attention on details, not unlike that SB Mowing 🤣
I agree
beautiful! that mower's a champ. thanks Tim
Weed solution - White vinegar and salt. Mix and spray. Safe to environment and animals. I have 2 cats so don't use chemicals. This works great for me
Great work as always Tim!
Tim I live how are precise with your cutting and trimming. Very professional excellent job. Why I enjoy your videos so much. Thank you for your service also as a firefighter God bless you
Good morning 🌄 Tim ❤
Good job tim looks beautiful.😊
That was some thick lawn. Great job. I pull my weeds out when they are big enough to get a good grip. From Queensland
You are a blessing ❤
In Denmark we use the potato water when we have boiled potatoes. Hello from Lissi. just started watching your channel, nice work you are doing have watched quite a bit now. Keep up the good work, happy to watch, from Denmark.
Geez there must be an huge volume of water under that land on a wet day. Godd job as usual Tim
I like your Shovel - I haven't seen one like that.
Hey tim i seen on your vlog about the weeds next to the drive way. Up in qld we call them cobblepeg weeds but their name is cobbler pegs. They are the worst thing to try and get out of your clothes.
You have so much fun pulling those weeds! You want to win….
Your lawnmower is a beast 🤣 I really enjoy your videos. Great job as always!
Fantastic transformation Tim 👍 I can't get over how lush the grass looked after you had mowed it, eat your ❤out Wimbledon 🎾😂 One happy MJ fan 👍 Have a lovely day Tim ❤
That Milwaukee blower is strong enough to blower the small stuff into a pile, but not strong enough to blow the pile away if you get too close... Another transformation that was well done and well deserved...
Yeah those blowers are awesome. I use one at work weekly
Great job Tim 😊from the USA girl 😊
So many utility access points!! Looks great!
Purrrrrfect job!!! 😸👏🙏✌️🇱🇷
Looks amazing!!
Love your work! Beautifully done! 💚
Did a fantastic job 👍
