Get Trial By Jury. It is really good. Lennie's last scenes before his untimely death (poor guy was so dedicated :'( ) Some guest starring actors from The Wire and conclusions to crossover episodes with Law & Order and Law & Order: SVU (especially if you want to see how svu's episode "Night" ends.)

But they could even go from an old show footage of a case that didn't get resolved & current partners are now coming up with the same crime years later. Solve it in memory of their partner & victims of passed case. What about have the NY cops go to London & visa versa. That would be cool.
Unpopular Opinion: I know that the Law & Order lineup of Jerry Orbach, Chris Noth, Dann Florek, Michael Moriarty, Richard Brooks, and Steven Hill only lasted 14 out of 456 episodes (all in Season 3), but I honestly believe that was the BEST combination of all. I'd love to think that in an alternative universe, it was those 6 guys from the beginning and they lasted for 8 whole seasons (minimum) without any executive meddling. Boy would that have been awesome.

Yeah, Logan worked with Goren in Stress Position when he guest stared in season 4, then twice in season five. In the opener when Logan was brought to MCS and helped the detectives by talking to the suspect from the projects. Then when they tamed up to work the case on the missing kids. Novak was my favorite ADA's out of all the assistants. Diane Neal was the hottest. As for police partners, I'm tied with Greevey and Logan and Briscoe and Curtis.
I've tried to get into other police procedural series but none of them are quite as engaging to me as the Law & Order series. I love the pacing and tone of the franchise.
