CHP Yosemite Hiker Rescue by Helicopter

CA Highway Patrol helicopter from Fresno rescues hurt Yosemite hiker. And it's all caught on camera.

By the way. Where was the Yosemite helicopter? Is it not operational in the winter months?

It was obviously a great rescue but I couldn't tell what was going on.

Are those blades as close to the wall as they look?

A few minutes into the rescue the pilots said he has 15 rotor clearance. So the rotor blades are 15 feet from the rocks.
