I found this to be an excellent interview with lots of great advice not just on ENVX but investing in general. I’ve made bad mistakes being too early, not being loyal enough to my money, falling in love with the story and not appreciating the risk etc. Every retail investor would learn a lot from this. I will keep my position size where it is and wait for further evidence they can scale. And agree it’s inevitable there will be hiccups. There have been several already. Thanks for this!
DCA if you have the stomach to hold in 2 years through the recession. It will be very volatile but will probably be $100+ by the end of 2026 when recession is over and they are ramping production rapidly
12:33 making batteries is easier than making chips, that 100 percent true. I invested in Enovix because I am convinced they mass manufacture their design. They have a simple design, simple is genius often.
The more I listen, the more I realize neither of you have done the proper level of research. Statements keep being made either which are factually wrong or which have gaping holes.
It was for the most part BS.....some people just love to talk.....Routejade Mainly bought for it's coating process, something that all major battery makers have in house. If he had actually listened to Enovix management he would already know this. The fact he tried to pin it on packaging alone means he knows less than the common shareholder or he is trying to lay out strawman arguments....either way just BS.
I agree they make some valid points, but miss the main one. Wether or not they overpaid for Routejade is irrelevant they didn’t buy the company for its business they bought it for its process capabilities which they determined would save them money and potential supply chain issues for a critical component of the battery manufacturing. Otherwise they would have had to outsource that whole process
@@kenfisher6296 Ajay also mentioned it was for security reasons.I saw a PPT that also mentioned one of the main reasons for yield failure was inconsistencies in material coating.
The government contract isn’t a stamp of approval. They routinely look to test many different batteries in their quest of getting the best tech. The deal is almost meaningless
Mr Not Advice should stop giving advice until he has done the work. They didn't buy Routejade for packaging, they bought it for coating expertise. The comparator for value isn't FCF it is cost of plant and skills development.
Its clear if you are interested in this equity, you should do more research than these guys. This is like an intro call to having two guys read about a company for a few days, then throw together a quick video. That's what this is. Do your research, folks! That's the only way you'll get ahead in this game.
It's not a chicken and egg problem... Make the battery based on the known specs of phones and show it's a better battery than existing. Build it and they will come...

Routejade was purchased for battery pack manufacturing and electrode coating.... not packaging. This is perfect purchase for vertical integration.
what happened with enovix today? dissaster or opportunity to DCA?

Let me hedge my bet and get a quote I can reference in the future regardless of the outcome, brilliant
You also don’t have a grasp on the timeline either. Still listening…
You don’t understand their battery IP correctly. You misstate how they functionally work from what I’ve heard so far.

Didn't know Tom Hanks was a retail investor!
Thanks for this. I wish Raj would watch this.
Is it me or does MrNotAdvice sound like Marc Cohodes
he certainly does
Not really

I guess this has all played out poorly for ENVX stock. Nobody seems to want it. And fast growing companies dont have large layoffs this early.
true but they can "reinvest" into production...or give their board more salary xD

He’s incredibly condescending it’s a new manufacturing process for a high energy dense battery.
With all respect i can tell you havent done much research on Enovix at all my friend. Some facts are false
No, the CEO is thinking what is best for the CEO. And what is best for the CEO is not always best for the company. Sorry.
what do you mean? can you explain
