@@tonymoney1579 Incorrect - actually the exact opposite. Depleted Uranium is used because it is a very dense metal and is put on the tips of the projectile to punch through armour and has a very low radioactive risk.
@@Bialy_1 US has already supplied DE 120mm rounds to Ukraine and so have the UK for the Challenger Tank. The MOD said the shells would enable Ukrainian crews to fire at longer distances because of the extra penetration given by a DE round.
