Hi guys!
She is doing,( I think) sc Ladder stitch, when making the petals. Try to look at some other tutorials about ladder stitch, there you can get the basic understanding of how the beads are stiched together, it's not hard! (Sapphirus here on YT does it alot! Check her channel or this link out: ua-cam.com/video/M9Con_TqjLg/v-deo.html ). Just notice that here, OP is using 2 needles instead of 1, some think it's easier to do that. with this flower, I think it will be easier to use 2 needles, then you get the pearls to lay more even from start!

I've been looking for a pattern to make a bow tie shaped piece to put on a barrett..this is the closest I've seen to that technique. Could it be possible for you to create a bow shape in that size bead you are using here? Also, how do you get that nylon to stay on the needles? I have such a hard time using it. Any Suggestions? Thank you.

Check Sapphirus out! She has alot of different bows! The same tecnique as here! I lik you one of many examples, here done with sead beads, but you should be able to do it with pearls too! Hope I'm not to late to help!
