Hachi, an Akita dog, was the model for the Hachiko statue, which is loved all over the world as a symbol of Shibuya Station.
Born in 1923 in Odate City, Akita Prefecture.
``HACHI Festival in Odate'' is an event to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Hachiko's birth in ``Shibuya'' and ``Odate''.
