It’s my passion and how I deal with Combat PTSD and I also help other veterans by learning how to image deep space. I was overjoyed that he began this hobby with me. And we bonded closer than ever before ( I’m slowly drifting to you) He had helped me set up many times but in July he took His first image, it was pillars of creation, m16. We had actually planned to image M-83, the Pin Wheel Galaxy) at a later time but unfortunately we will never get to do it together. I made a video of that night he imaged for the first time. He had been doing so well in recovery our Father and Son bond was finally back all the way and even better. We had drifted apart some due to addiction but our relationship was fully restored over the past 20 months. On August 18th 2023, my world was rocked and it still is. He took something for the fist time in over 20 months and it took his life just a month after we made this video. I don’t like the word overdose because that’s not what he did. He had just taken such a small amount, but it was lethal, it killed him. This song is used in the movie Solace in that movie a man grieves the loss of his daughter at a young age. Irony? M83 was my first experience into music that completely reshaped the way I saw the world. I first listened to this album 10 years ago when I was only 12 years old. It represented such an amazing time, experiences, and just innocence of what it was to be a child. I met my friends with this song ten years ago, and as this song gets older, so does our friendship. But the album never ceases to amaze me, and it still impacts me just like the first day I listened to it, aging beautifully. The nostalgia is of this is so strong. My mom got me a record player for my 15th birthday in December 2011 with four vinyl albums and Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming was one of them. I can’t tell you how much this album was the soundtrack of my adolescence. Absolutely transcendent band

I'm sure someone's commented before, but at several points in this version of the song -- the sound oscillation at 2:22, the organ chords at around 2:45, and the door knocks at the end of the video - I'm called back to some classic 70s Pink Floyd sound, like DSotM and WYWH. The 2 groups of door knocks from "One of these Days" in particular, feel different, but alarmingly similar. I love it.
I love this type of sensory overload music. Feels cinematic, like everything is only just beginning but also ending at the same time. Hard to put into words but I keep my headphones at full volume and go places in my mind.
This song reminds of the time when I was running a 5k with my friend, she decided I was going too slow and ran ahead, I was running the race alone. By the end of the race I was ready to give up and I was so tired my ankles were rolling with every step. I looked over and my friends were cheering and my other friend who was running the race with her sister came grabbed my arm and helped me to the finish. This was years ago and I don’t know what ever happened to her, but I will never forget what a great friend she was. (Later, after the race, I found out that one of my ankles were fractured).

Today I cried when I listened to this song just because of how much it reminded me of her and her importance in my life. I love this girl so much, more than I love myself. I wish that we could be more than friends, in a relationship, or something more just because of how much she has impacted my life and the way I live. I wish to tell her all the things that are on my mind when I see her, when I call her, when I hug her, when I see her name pop up on my phone even after we’ve been texting all day. Hurry up, We’re dreaming is literally one of my favorite albums ever to be created… So much emotion and their music is always so heartfelt. I can’t even describe how amazing it was to grow up with these songs by M83, they’re absolutely my favorite thing on this planet.
This MV makes me cry every time I see it. Such an emotional roller coaster. What a talented group of musicians. I first heard about them a decade ago with the Oblivion soundtrack when the guy who used to make "Did. You Hear the New Mixtape?" was still compiling his fave indie tracks on his website. I guess that was also when I was addicted to finding new English-language indie music via the Hype Machine, before I got addicted to kpop lol. I recently found my old 2012 iPod Shuffle which had M83's Oblivion track saved to it, and remembered the good ol' times when I listened to this style of music. No matter how the times change, I can still return to these classics again and again and still enjoy it. Thanks, M83, for bringing me the soundtrack of a generation. I'm always impressed by your creativity and epic artistic sense.

M83 was my first experience into music that completely reshaped the way I saw the world. I first listened to this album 10 years ago when I was only 12 years old. It represented such an amazing time, experiences, and just innocence of what it was to be a child. I met my friends with this song ten years ago, and as this song gets older, so does our friendship. But the album never ceases to amaze me, and it still impacts me just like the first day I listened to it, aging beautifully. The nostalgia is of this is so strong. My mom got me a record player for my 15th birthday in December 2011 with four vinyl albums and Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming was one of them. I can’t tell you how much this album was the soundtrack of my adolescence. Absolutely transcendent band

This is essentially a periquel to a trilogy of music videos about children with superpowers (in addition to the music video for "Midnight City", there are also music videos for the songs "Reunion" and "Wait").
Its originaly made for the film solace, where a couple of people have a mysterious power similar to your minds eye very intresting as its a possibility of evolution.
Take some back to wild nights, early morning walks with friends in the woods and the knowing that I’ll never have those times again the same way. Enjoy every minute of life, the most amazing gift we all received. Life is EPIC!!

a song that have been through of my most difficult times, back when I was living alone with high hopes and full of dream, a teenager who fought and sacrificed everything just to achieve his dream. I remembered that I cried one time, I thought that I failed at everything and I know that I couldn’t take it anymore. and this song came out of nowhere and started make me cried, and sort of gave that touch of hand to say “you got this”

such an underrated band, started listening as a kid in 2014, and it’s cool to see some of their songs blow up other than “midnight city”
I'm sure someone's commented before, but at several points in this version of the song -- the sound oscillation at 2:22, the organ chords at around 2:45, and the door knocks at the end of the video - I'm called back to some classic 70s Pink Floyd sound, like DSotM and WYWH. The 2 groups of door knocks from "One of these Days" in particular, feel different, but alarmingly similar. I love it.
I remember about 7 years ago I use close my eyes listening to their albums and somehow visualize a scene in life which made me feel nostalgic

This song reminds of the time when I was running a 5k with my friend, she decided I was going too slow and ran ahead, I was running the race alone. By the end of the race I was ready to give up and I was so tired my ankles were rolling with every step. I looked over and my friends were cheering and my other friend who was running the race with her sister came grabbed my arm and helped me to the finish. This was years ago and I don’t know what ever happened to her, but I will never forget what a great friend she was. (Later, after the race, I found out that one of my ankles were fractured).

This song makes me feel something that I feel I have lost. My best friend had shown me this after me not having listened to it in years. Today I cried when I listened to this song just because of how much it reminded me of her and her importance in my life. I love this girl so much, more than I love myself. I wish that we could be more than friends, in a relationship, or something more just because of how much she has impacted my life and the way I live. I wish to tell her all the things that are on my mind when I see her, when I call her, when I hug her, when I see her name pop up on my phone even after we’ve been texting all day. She’s taught me how to start loving myself by showing me what love means. I’m taking time for myself to figure myself out and hopefully I can make her happier than I ever was, can, and will be. Because if she is happy then I’m happy.

This MV makes me cry every time I see it. Such an emotional roller coaster. What a talented group of musicians. I first heard about them a decade ago with the Oblivion soundtrack when the guy who used to make "Did. You Hear the New Mixtape?" was still compiling his fave indie tracks on his website. I guess that was also when I was addicted to finding new English-language indie music via the Hype Machine, before I got addicted to kpop lol. I recently found my old 2012 iPod Shuffle which had M83's Oblivion track saved to it, and remembered the good ol' times when I listened to this style of music. No matter how the times change, I can still return to these classics again and again and still enjoy it. Thanks, M83, for bringing me the soundtrack of a generation. I'm always impressed by your creativity and epic artistic sense.

i heard the tune wait first and then found this by accident and so glad i did here lately well the past three weeks i gave up substance abuse i was almost homeless and then this happened these songs i found made me realize i was SO much happier when i was a teen and in my early 20s i am 58 soon to be 59 and my God made me realize i no longer want to rust peace and love to you all...wish me luck you humans also i am happy for the first time in many many years
