North of the bridge. A town called Inverkeithing. High school were sportsman Steven Henry and Scotland footballers Gordon Durie and Craig Leven when they to.
This site looks beautiful. We want to visit Scotland next year and haven’t a clue where to go and start, so your vlog is really giving us some ideas, thank you so much, so informative.
Lovely to see the road travelled. I am a Scot living in Northern Ireland. On visits home I have travelled often between North Berwick and East Fife to visit family. 😀😀
Hi Bob & Jenny, we stayed there on our way back from Culloden Moor for two nights, what a beautiful hidden GEM of a site, when we were there, there was 4 or 5 vans at this time of year and look at it now i think some one has blabbed about it lol, it is a beautiful place and just a short walk into the little (wee) town, we left the day the Queens Ferry Bridge opened on a Wednesday and drove over it. Have great vacation as I'm not jealous much lol.
Interesting fact. Prince Phillip was based in Rosyth Naval base and was a regular in the Albert Hotel in North Queesferry. Some of the old stories of him drinking in the Albert are legendary 🍻
Great video as always good to finally meet you both in barnard castle town centre with my poppy other half in chocolate shop 🤣 We made it to Chester and travelling down to Dorset this week Must say best thing bout your videos for me is how you show route in great detail even stopping video to show road sights have a great time
Great video, been to visit granddaughter in Worcester for a few days , got back home to find out partner had sold caravan so no more holidays for me . So will look forward to your adventures. Take care all of you xx
We usually tour Scotland in August, & visit friends in Dunfermline en-route. We have visited Balburnie & enjoyed it there......nice parkland, golf course etc. Didn't think much of Markinch though. Depending on where you're touring, Queens View in Pitlochry is definitely worth a visit on a nice day. About 1hr 15 mins from where you are now - spectacular views, Visitor Centre........well worth a visit. Happy travels.
When you cross north side of the bridge you can just see what was once a hostel for the workers building the Forth road bridge. Was I was kid it was turned in to rehearsal studios for bands. Firstly Nazareth and then Big Country. We used to sit outside on a wall and listen to them practise. Happy days.
Jenny was right Bob. It is Loch Levem (Leevin). Beautiful weather however its not unusual to get nice late summer weather in Fife. Been sunburnt many times at the Leuchars airshow, or was it wind burn 😀
It was good to go with you over the Queensferry Crossing, but the Forth (Rail) bridge is my all time favourite! Have heard from various people that Aberlour (or Aberdour) Castle is impressive, Poppy would like it there. I like the Fife coast with seals and birds, Isle of May, and Anstruther. There's a lot to on Fife. I did like the site where you were. Safe travels.
Balbirnie Park , you are parked very near to my house lol , You can park up at Lohore Meadows for £10 a night in a dedicated area , they do have hook up but not sure about other services
Nice place. We were there a few weeks back when we toured the East Coast of Scotland. Don’t miss The Laurelbank Hotel just down the road from the site, steaks to die for 👍
So strange watching you in my neighbourhood. Although I’m in Carnoustie I travel to Fife, Edinburgh and central belt all the time with work. 😀 and it is pronounced Leeevan (Loch Leven)
Haste ye back… per my previous comments, loads to do in Fife, you could easily spend a week here. Good to see you visit the “meedies” as we locals call it… (Lochore Meadows Country Park) 🤣🤣 once us Fifers start chatting you’d struggle to keep up. 🤣🤣🤣 Enjoy your stay.
I live in Kirkcaldy , balbirnie is just a wee bit up the road from me. Our fav caravan park is Craig town meadows in St. Andrews. Hope you both have a lovely time up here x
Didn't notice, we just followed the club instructions, the sat nav would have sent us down the B9130 too early, through the village. We wat he'd out for the roundabout in the instructions, the Tullis Russell roundabout.
The car is serviced every year. This A Frame was fitted new last year. I'm not aware of any insurance company requirement to have the A Frame checked every year, but it is a good idea.
Lovely site hope you enjoy it guys
That site looks well spread out very nice and I like the journey between the camp sites good.video

Hi Bob, Jenny and Poppy, what a lovely site amongst the trees, lovely park to walk around, enjoying following your tour x
My favourite site .... love it.

Looks lovely
Yes it was a nice site, but Poppy got worried by the rain falling off the trees onto the motorhome.

Hope you enjoy Fife. I've lived here for 17 years now and love it. So much to see.
Hope you concentrated Bob 🤣🤦♂️
Great video mate, really notice the work you’re putting into the editing. An enjoyable watch 👍☕️
Another good vlog. Enjoying this journey with you. Always look forward to the next upload👍

Did you see the redundant cruise ships on the left when crossing the bridge. Fred Olson. Sadly some seem to being dismantled 😟

You two are well cool keep up the good work and let us know about the tips about caravanning please
Looks great not been to fife yet . Should be going next year xx
Jenny was right pronouncing Loch Leven.

Yes I saw that after we left, very good.
Trip to inchcolm should be a lot higher on list lol

That would be nice I'm if we weren't vegetarian 😊
@@BobEarnshawMoHo oops, I forgot about that. Sorry Bob 😀

Go to Falkland Palace. That’s where Henry the eight started his real tennis career. The court is still in use.
No dogs I'm afraid
Don’t know why Henry was an old dog 😊😀

We did thanks.
great video and nice music
don’t think poppy was to impressed with the coffee bob bless her glad your enjoying bonny scotland 🥰
You had the same issue with your sat nav instructions at 9:48 like Glyn did?
Didn't notice, we just followed the club instructions, the sat nav would have sent us down the B9130 too early, through the village. We wat he'd out for the roundabout in the instructions, the Tullis Russell roundabout.
What’s the music played on the journey Bob. Great band.
I should have listed the music in the video description.
Hi bob do you Have your A frame connections on the car checked every 12 months to keep it legal for your insurance thanks john
