Don't forget to wash it before you frame it. No matter how clean you think you kept it, the oils from your hands that transfered onto the fabric via direct contact with the thread, the fabric, the needle and the hoop will cause it to yellow over time. You don't want to frame it and then in a year see it start to turn. You'd be so disappointed. You put a lot of hard work into that.
@@Harjas08 I reccomend using a small wet towel, and lightly dab on the fabric. Then get a hair dryer and dry it off. When it's done drying, spray Lysol on it. I hope this helped!
I did this motive as well, it's really pretty :) the only thing that bugs me is that they don't put white thread to stitch everything that's supposed to be white, you're just supposed to see the fabric underneath at those points and I don't like that so I got myself some white thread and filled them out :)
Oh wow 😲 that’s amazing work and so beautiful 😍 I would love 💖 to have something as beautiful on my wall I’m in love with this one it makes it so much more valuable when you know all that work and time was put in it 💖
Your work turned out beautiful and I love that you explained the outlining. When I first started, back in the day, I use to go through every stitch to outline and that’s because I didn’t know you could go across a straight line. Thank you for a great video.
Thanks for the great video. I bought the same cross stitch pack a few days ago and I’m only 25,000 stitches behind you. Thanks for giving me a very high standard to aim for.
So beautiful! Thank you for explaining it so well! I am going to use your videos to learn to do these beautiful cross stitch pictures. Of course I am going to start on something easy. 😂😂
🗾Ha!, it’s cute and colorful ✨🗻, I think you girls who would go under this trouble💓👀💖 are quite able to purchase (simple white or dyed) Kimono 👘 and get it embroidered, making it pricelessly gorgeous.
That looks amazing!! Very well done!! I wish I could show you the last one I finished! It is Dimensions, Cardinal on a sled. It took me three months to complete. And now I have started Dimensions Aurora Cabin. Let's see how long that one takes me lol.😁😁😁
Wow beautiful piece!! I want to get into crossstitching!! I have a few patterns I got from wish and they are quite big !! But yes what to get into this!! So relaxing
Wonderful job!!! Gorgeous!!! Never knew that about backstitch outline with four squares. I thought each backstitch was done separately. It would be sooo much easier and more defined doing it your suggested way. Thank you!!!
Looks like you used 4 threads instead of 2 as I believe you stated with and 2 instead of 1 with your top stitches. Looks better that way on 11 CT fabric but only if you have enough thread included. Nice job.
Beautiful! How do you count your stitches? Do you do a section at a time or do you do one whole color at a time? Would love to see a video on how you count stitches 😄 🪡 I am new to this and just bought Kinkade Twilight Bridge cross stitch project. I'm a bit nervous lol
I am also fairly new to cross stitch. I see that you are using the hoop. If you moved the hoop to the stitched area, it wont affect your threads? Any tips thank you.
From what I have learnt so far if you are not gridding first, then fold the material in half and half again to find the centre and then find the centre of the pattern and start there working outwards on the material However I have recently got this kit and when I did some research in to how to do it hopefully without making too many mistakes I decided I would grid first with some sulky thread and this way you can work on a 10 by 10 square at a time. There are videos on UA-cam for gridding type gridding and sulky and the one I used should come up. It explains in full detail. However I am a massive fan of these UA-cam videos and I still think these by Jessica are the best for inspiring and motivating me to try and get back in to cross stitch ( I had only ever done and finished one very simple piece this is my first piece that does not have printed design or outline therefore why I decided to grid is best for me . Jules
@@julesm8546 thank you for the advice. That Well help. I'll be checking out those video's. I have a couple I'd love to do that aren't preprinted. Stay safe.
Patricia Owens my pleasure stay safe too. I am quite new to cross stitching a project of this size without printed design on the fabric myself so I am crossing my fingers it turns out as good as Jessica’s ! 🤞 So long as you follow UA-cam guide for gridding step by step you should be ok I think it will make it slightly easier But if you don’t want to grid make sure to double count your stitches Good luck :) xx 🍀
I end it just like you. The back is nowhere tad messy as parking. I do the same. You’ve enabled me once again, lol. Who did u purchase this pattern from?
I got a tiny project from Michael's and started cross stitching today. Comparing works, yours look like a Picasso while mine looks like a stick figure 🙄
Do you wash your pieces before framing and have you ever had problem with colour s running? - so I need to do anything before I attempt to stitch the whole piece to stop colour run potentially when washing after it’s finished ?
I cross stitch. Some experts that teaches classes? They say the back should look like the front. I've tried that and can never master that. I've seen their work and their's does look like that. Maybe one day I will master that.

Bethany Taylor How do you recommend washing it? Beautiful work! Thanks
How do you wash it ?

Do you still have the instruction paper with stitch/thread combo guide? Friend lost hers and is desperate to find one as she’s 1/2 way finished.
That is beautiful!!!!! Where did you buy the kit? How many strings of thread did you use? You did an amazing work!!!!
Great job!
Awesome 👍
I got this Japanese garden cross stitch kit with me . Is 16 count Aida fabric difficult to stitch . I have worked on 14 count Aida

+jessica.teee why you don't wash it ? , its better for the stitches and the fabric will be soft ! :))
Victoria Janzen I was afraid the stitches would unravel if I put it into the laundry machine if that is what you mean :/
jessica.teee No, i mean put it in water not in a washing machine :))

its's so beautiful!
I want to buy this kit but on the website it says we need 14 count and not 16 count? Should i do it on a 16 count?
Soeurs Chnuj the kit should come with the correct fabric
I cross stitch. Some experts that teaches classes? They say the back should look like the front. I've tried that and can never master that. I've seen their work and their's does look like that. Maybe one day I will master that.
Dont make a knot at the back.
Either use the loop method or stitch over tails. Never ever knot your work.
Guess what I ordered because of being inspired from seeing this ?! X
This exact kit! This will be my first time working on 16 count ! X
It’s such a pretty scene x
nice. good luck
Cindy99765 thank you :)
Do you use the parking method? I think it would confuse me too much
How many strand you applied in this pattern?
nice! did u use canava or panama?
precioso Tu vendes los proyectos ?
Beautiful I love it
This looks so good! Good job!!! How much thread did you use in the needle? And did you cross stitch by row or color? Im sorry, im learning
Samantha Ratajczak usually as long as from elbow to hand, I cross stitch by color but jump around
Awesome!
Where can I buy this kit
Well done very beautiful question do you do only one stitch don't you do a cross
