I'm trying to buy less in general because I am an emotional shopper. But one thing that helps is instead of going right to Amazon is looking up smaller businesses that do the same thing. Adding that extra step or two disrupts the quick impulse buy. And makes me think "do I really need this? Do I really need this right now? Can it wait? Is it worth paying a little more?" Then if I do still buy it my purchase is going to a smaller business. And it's usually better quality.
I think you might be my nail polish sister because I have Let’s Glow Crazy by Colores De Carol and I also just got guided by the light by Vannessa Molina (also my first Vannessa Molina). I also usually only get 3-4 polishes from PPU so we must have the same taste. Thank you for the video, always love to see what’s filling out that beautiful copper rack 💅
Another great month of choices. I appreciate that you included some charities appropriate for this month. I saw some comments you made in response to someone about pronouns and was so impressed with your kind and nonconfrontational response. Kudos.
Thank you! I almost didn't say anything and I am glad the conversation stayed respectful. I am still working on using the singular they/them and mess up sometimes. But for the most part if you are trying your best and still learning people give you grace and move on with out being upset. 💞
Hi Alli! This is my favorite video series of yours. :) Excellent intro commentary and so many great choices. Wow, Nightshade is amazing, I've never seen anything like it! Have you worn the neon jellies from NOL yet? I'm curious to hear if they chipped or wore longer than 1-2 days without acting up. The neons I got from Zoya years ago would chip off the next day, so I vowed never to buy neons again. Maybe they just had a terrible formula?
Thanks! I don't wear my polishes for very long. I usually change them 2 to 3 times per week. But Night Owl Lacquer in general doesn't seem to chip on me.
You always do beautiful racks. Fun to watch. ❤❤
Thank you!
Great selections!
Thanks!
I love that you mentioned shopping small!!! I try to do the same!

That is very similar to me! I give myself a hard limit of 4 polishes from PPU but try to stay under.
